Not all dishes were a hit for me but overall i liked it and thr price was very low. Unfortunately many things were out of stock both days i ate there

Very little English is spoken here, but it's not too important. Choose something from the menu and enjoy. The food was delicious and spicy. Also unique, I don't think I've had mock meats in ethiopian food before. Unbelievably inexpensive. Don't forget to tip!

One & only vegan restaurant - Edit
This is a country of 126 millions people strong with “one and only” vegan restaurant. This makes me wonder… I was very excited to try out their shiro (teff flours,GF). I have had very rough tough experiences with the local (mean people and every one begs for money since I am a foreigner) so this would be a treat away from all the harshness. I like the restaurant a lot. Would try all other dishes any given chance.

Happy to arrive there and take the authentic vibe in, a mixture of scents of frankincense and roasting coffee beans. The very friendly stuff tried to explain the card to me, but as I'm not familiar with the local dishes yet, I asked him to bring his favorite meal. So I ate vegan Tibs, a kind of vegan meat with Teff flour crepes, something that I wouldn't have chosen but really enjoyed, as it was delicious and abundant. Seeing the kitchen stuff wearing professional uniforms and haircaps was an unexpected aspect, as from the outside the establishment seems very simple. Everything was clean and well taken care off. It just shows again, a good atmosphere doesn't need complications. I definitely will go back and try out more dishes
