An absolute saviour! - Edit
I’ve been at Fort Kochi for the past three days and have already found myself visiting here for the third time! In a city filled with restaurants that mainly caters to seafood eaters, Loving Earth is the glowing light amidst a dark night. Very rarely do I get to read through a menu carefree, so the joy of the experience extended beyond the food as well.
Read moreAs for the food itself, I tried the Cheezy Herby Garlic Bread, the Veg Out as well as the Shitake Veg Out Sushi, the All Funghi Pizza, the Hummus with Veggies, as well as the Vanilla Gelato and the Chocolate Brownie. And I can vouch for almost everything (I believe the pizza was a little more white- saucy then I’d like). Would visit a billion more times!!

Tasty, vegan and not cheap - Edit
Nice selection of Buddha bowls, tasty snacks, pizzas, juices, curries and some desserts.
Read moreEverything that we ordered was on the spectrum of good to excellent.
Visited the place twice.
We spend about 2,500 rupees for meal for two. Probably not for traveler on a budget.
Warmly recommend

Pizza was amazing - Edit
The atmosphere is nice
Read moreWe were waiting for a long time for someone to come over and signalled a couple of times.
My pizza was really good 😊 came out after my friends had eaten though. They ordered Buddha bowls and got small soups and were very disappointed.
Mosquitos are rampant in the garden maybe try sit inside. On leaving we saw sprays but no one offered to us whilst there swatting them away.
Dessert we cookies or brownies with ice cream
Both nice choices the cookie more money friendly - brownie was western prices like many other things.
When paying we noticed we had all been charged an extra 100 rupees for ice cream
It was fixed but only after they called the chef, the menu has ice cream scoop as 150 but apparently they charge 250 when you go in for ice cream.
Unfortunately for us lots of little things added up to make it less enjoyable- pizza was still lovely
Pros: All vegan , Ice cream without sugar , Good pizza for £9
Cons: Pricey for Indian standards for sure , Mosquito heaven , Excuses instead of apologies

Lovely healthy food! - Edit
Where do I start? Such a big menu to choose from and such healthy dishes makes this a good break from the south India flavours if that’s what you’re after. Really nice shady outside seating, nice background music and all round positive ambience! Vegan milks for tea and coffees, amazing buddha bowls, vegan pizzas etc. smoked Casava canapé starter was amazing too. A slice of vegan loveliness amidst the chaos of fort Cochin.
Read morePros: 100% vegan menu, Calm shady outdoor seating, Friendly
Cons: Doesn’t open too midday so no breakfast, A bit expensive for cochi but worth it

🌱 Creative Vegan Flavours in Fort Kochi, but Watch the Salt 🌱 - Edit
I visited Loving Earth Cafe in Fort Kochi with a friend and was impressed by the warm, inviting vibe of the place. It’s a cosy spot with a lovely eco-conscious atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxed vegan meal.
Read moreWe tried the Veg Out Sushi, Cheese Soy Minced Burrito, and a refreshing glass of Tepache. The burrito was hearty, well-balanced, and packed with flavour, while the Tepache stood out as a unique, lightly fermented drink that was both tangy and revitalising.
The only downside was the sushi and its sauce, which were noticeably too salty for our taste. It overshadowed the otherwise fresh and creative preparation. If the salt levels were adjusted, it would have been a delightful dish.
Overall, Loving Earth Cafe is worth visiting for its inventive vegan options, friendly staff, and great vibe. With just a little refinement in seasoning, it has the potential to be outstanding.

Een rustig restaurant met een tuin, waar een heerlijke sfeer heerst. Het is fantastisch dat het vegan is na het overal steeds uit te moeten leggen, hier een keer niet. Het eten was heerlijk

Eden Garden Experience - Edit
Calming garden setting amongst the trees with indoor seating if needed. Would be stunning on an evening. Natural Mosquito/insect repellant spray is provided on every table - thoughtful touch!
Read moreExtensive menu - definitely something for all taste buds.
Loved that they do raw and sugar free desserts alongside others which I reluctantly sampled for the HC 😀 the verdict - you shouldn't be disappointed!
They told me the banana bread is made fresh so will take some time - more points awarded if I could have given more stars.
Nice to see this place thriving with larger groups too. Shows the vegan movement is building!
If I was staying closer, I would definitely have done some of the yoga classes. Also seems they have a strong yogi community here.

Such a lovely place to visit - Edit
I called in for lunch with 2 friends who were non vegan and maybe a little sceptical. They needn’t have worried, they were so impressed with the variety of the menu and the quality of the food. I had the Greenpeace pizza, which was a lovely change from the amount of curry I’ve eaten here. It was hard to pick what to have, it all looked amazing. The staff were really lovely and friendly too.

So good - Edit
My friend and I celebrated Thanksgiving by ordering a feast at Loving Earth, we really enjoyed our meal. I think my favorites were the jackfruit pizza and the papaya canapes, they were both flavorful and delicious. The orange cake was a tad disappointing, pretty dry, but everything else was lovely. I also stopped in to work a bit on my laptop and had a caramel coconut coffee which was like a frappe, a nice treat!

Cool Oasis, fantastic food. - Edit
This is a gorgeous, shady, plant filled spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of Fort Kochi. Everything's vegan which was an absolute dream. A mixture of different foods was a nice break from the South Indian cuisine we'd had the past 3 days.
Read moreGarlic & Herb flatbread - perfectly flavoured & the cheese alternative the used melted like a dream.
Chick'n Sandwich - this was the winner between the two sandwiches we ordered.
Tofu Sandwich - a little too toasted for my liking - making the sandwich super crunchy but refreshing with cooling salad & well cooked tofu.
Brownie - Served warm, the chocolate chips were gooey & the top of the brownie was crunchy (just how I like it). However, the size could be smaller & the middle part less dry.
Ice cream - Ordered extra to have with the brownie. Not the greatest ice cream & wish you could pay less to add a smaller amount to the brownie.
Pros: Well flavoured food, Fully vegan options
Cons: Brownie was a bit dry
