Relaxing Eatery, Tucked Away From the Main Street. - Edit
I think that Lovegan's hidden location is one strong point, because my effort to find the eatery raised my excitement level for trying the food here. The offerings here exceeded my expectations: The tempeh bánh mì and spring rolls were fresh, savory, and hearty.

Great vegan essentials sourcing - Edit
I haven't dined here but have been their regular customer of vegan essentials. They have a wide range of vegan ingredients for sweet and savoury dishes. The price is quite reasonable, even cheaper than some groceries. And they use paper instead plastic bags.

Vegan treat + 1 stop shop for essentials - Edit
I want to say that Lovegan has moved ever so slightly further down the alley, so instead of turning left when you go in, continue straight down the lane and follow the curve and when it comes to a big open space then you should see it😄don't give up - it's there! I buy my tempeh, tahini and all things vegan from this store. It's reasonably priced and has a wide range of essentials for cooking up feasts at home! Really recommend it for grocery items. Also their menu is clean and tasty, slightly more pricey than your avg Vietnamese place but well worth it!! It is family run and they are very sweet and you can tell are very passionate.

Super vegan food and shop - Edit
Lovegan has moved to new premises in the same alley, it is now in a lovely peaceful courtyard. I sat outside in the Hanoi autumn sunshine today and it was perfect. The food is as good as ever, and the kombucha too! I then stocked up on vegan store cupboard items which are so reasonably priced, for example chickpeas, nuts and dried fruit.

Highlight of the trip - Edit
I'd go as far as to say Lovegan is now my fave eatery in Vietnam, after just 2 consecutive visits. The vibe is relaxed, the owner is friendly, the food is healthy and tasty, and the price is good. I will miss this place and look forward to re-visiting when next in Hanoi.

Little very cosy family restaurant - Edit
This place is little and with family atmosphere. You order on the first flore and then you cam go upstairs where there are couple of tables and one asian style place for middle size group of friends. Food was really delicious. We ordered two kinds of banh mi, dumplings, chocolate cake and cacao. Everything was tasty. My favorites are banh mi with lentils and chocolate cake. Also you can buy here some goods for home: wheats and beans in bulk (without package), plant-based butter and so on.

Tasty, creative, good amount - Edit
This lovely place, run by a vegan, Vietnamese couple offers very tasty Vietnamese-Western-Infusion dishes in a good amount (no super small portions as in some other places). Also very interesting: They offer a fermentes banana juice which is basically some kind of kombucha based on banana, locally made in central Vietnam. Try it!

Awesome! - Edit
New vegan here and this was only my second ever visit to a vegan restaurant. I absolutely loved my visit. As others have mentioned, it is slightly difficult to find, but there’s a sign at 186 Ngoc Ha to direct you (so please don’t let that discourage you). The food was delicious: I had the hummus pizza and coffee with vegan milk. As someone who, until recently, hated veggies, I found the pizza to be tasty and something I would come back for. The menu looks really good as well and I had a difficult time refraining from trying everything. The seating is pretty limited, but it was enough to handle the lunch crowd. Perhaps the best aspect of the restaurant is the owner. He seems to be really into promoting the vegan lifestyle. You can tell he loves what he does and that is enough for me to become a repeat customer. I only wish I lived closer!

Great food & cooked with love! - Edit
A little hard to find but worth the hunt! We came close to closing time but we were still welcomed in. You feel as if your getting a home cooked meal. After a week of white bread, i appreciated the heaither options such as rye bread or whole wheat steamed buns. The lentils bhan my is great and so is the pesto zoodles and dumplings. Plus the owners are super sweat and are passionate about spreading the vegan message in hanoi! Yes you dont get western style service with a smile ear to ear every second but your in vietnam so enjoy the cultural differences 😊

Good food, awkward atmosphere. - Edit
Cute restaurant, a little lacking in ambience. We turned up at around 6.15pm, and were asked if we wanted to eat there, which we thought was obvious. The woman who greeted us seemed kind of annoyed that we were there and didn't smile at all, so it felt a bit awkward. We were the only ones there. Ordered a steamed bun and the zucchini pasta, but they had run out of steamed buns. The pasta was great - really excellent pesto, and came with a few pieces of tempeh. My partner ordered the pesto pizza which he said was delicious. Good place, overall - didn't go again but may have for variety's sake and to try more of their menu.

I go here every week! A little family run business, the owners are lovely and really put in the effort with everyone and the beautiful food they make. They sell lots of other vegan things as well! You can get your Nuts, legumes, plant milk, peanut butter, nut butters and lots of other things!!! For very cheap!!! That’s how I know they do it from their heart because they mustn’t be making much profit off it! The smoothies bowls are out of this world. Yeaaa just go!!!

Numero uno vegan food in Hanoi! - Edit
Went there every day during my 3 day stay in Hanoi. Had the lentil/tempeh banh mis, the chickpea tempeh spring rolls and the quinoa black bean salad. All the food was amazing - clean, nice flavours, not oily/salty - in one word: Banging!.

Great food - Edit
This is a cute little restaurant near the botanical gardens. It’s a little tricky to find as it’s behind the first row of shops opposite the gardens, but they have a big ‘vegan cafe’ sign on the building!
Read moreI went and had the peanut butter banana smoothie, steamed wholemeal bun, and lentil and tempeh banh mi. The smoothie was nice and refreshing, though I’d have personally preferred more peanut butter! The wholemeal bun was delicious. I’ve never actually seen a steamed wholemeal bun around, so that was a nice change from just the regular dumplings! The Banh mi was also very tasty. Tempeh isn’t too common in Vietnam, but they have it here and it’s good!
Reasonable prices as well, considering it’s all organic, local and non GMO.
Pros: All vegan, Very tasty food

Best Vegan spot in hanoi! - Edit
This is by far the best vegan restaurant in Hanoi! It is situated down a charming alley and the couple that run the place are so welcoming. Everything on the menu is delicious but the hummus/tempeh pizza is by far one of the best meals I've ever had, along with the peanut butter/cacao smoothie bowl. I was here no less than twice a week! Thank you lovegan I love you !

Great family-run business - Edit
A small vegan cafe with good ambience. The business runners have created a positive atmosphere where customers are treated like family whenever they are in the shop. I didn't get the chance to try many food because I was already full at the time. Tried their chocolate cake and fruit cookies which were both delicious.
