No Longer Vegan - New Owners - Edit
Now have to navigate a dairy & fish menu with some vegan options. Told them they just lost a customer & walked out, going to House of Vegano instead, where I felt I got more and better food for the same price.

Lost its passion? - Edit
Been here multiple times over the years and I always get the Banh Mi Burger and loved the flavor. Today when I got it there was no flavor at all. It wasn’t even good enough to take home, wasted $18.

A healthy Reuben - Edit
The first Reuben I’ve ever had with no trace of greasy so it seemed like a healthy choice with kraut, pickles, crispy bread, and mustard. Chose the side salad and it came with sunflower seeds and a delicious dressing. The perfect size lunch! And if you want a sweet treat, there is a case full of desserts, including moon pies.

Great ingredients, too salty - Edit
Second time here. Love the menu and the healthful ingredients. Unfortunately, so much of the food we found too salty. The lentil burger. The tempeh bacon. The mac n cheese.

Stumbled upon this place and decided to do a quick to go order! Their mac and cheeze was one of the best we’ve ever tried!! Loved the peanut buttery tasting milkshake too, so refreshing on a hot day

Sooooo delicious - Edit
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, and wow!!! Absolutely incredible. It’s so good, I can’t wait to go back. We got the veggie flatbread and Cuban Rueben, neither disappointed. We also got dessert- a blondie and something else I can’t remember the name but everything absolutely smacked.

Excellent! - Edit
Nice smallish place in St Pete. I got their bahn mi with a side of mac and cheese. Excellent sandwich, but I also wanted to say the consistency of their mac n cheese was very good: not they gooey Daiya kinda cheese but I suspect something like sweet potato- or veg-based. It was pure comfort food and a larger serving than I thought. Spouse and I were both very full from our food, so the portions are definitely enough! He got the Cuban rueben, which I also tried a bite of. It was also excellent, entirely different from the bahn mi. Everything is made with great skill and love!

Amazing Flavors - Edit
We tried Love Food Central for the first time this morning and it was a hit. We started with the Broccoli Cheezy Soup and it was so good! My husband said it reminded him of the broccoli cheese soup I used to make before I chose to be vegan. We then shared 2 sandwiches: The Reuben and the Love Burger. Both were so good! Although it was not served on rye bread (which is traditionally how a Reuben is served), it was still a very delicious tempeh sandwich and I would highly recommend it. The Love Burger was also delicious and full of flavor. We are so happy we chose this place for lunch. Staff was very friendly. We drove up from Sarasota and we will be back next time we are in town.

Must stop - Edit
Absolutely must make time to stop here if you are nearby. My dad has a place in Tampa and everytime we visit we make sure to stop at least twice. We order way to much every single time. It’s so hard to decide. They also have tons of desserts, bake goods, cashew custard. I love 5lbs heavier and it’s so worth it.

Delicious, clean, local ingredients - Edit
The food is clean, local, and combinations taste great! My 1 complaint is the portions are so small for the price. I expect it to be priced higher, given the amazing quality, but I would expect more substance. However, I still do love coming here! The people are amazing and the food tastes great.

Solid vegan and gluten free options - Edit
I had the Ruben tempeh and potato salad. It was a nice place, helpful staff, and decent food. The sandwich was more of a passing nod at a Ruben than a knock your socks off Ruben but it was good.

We are never disappointed when we eat at LFC! Everything is super tasty and they offer a nice selection to-lease each palate! There is also an off-menu item offered to mix things up a bit! The dessert selection offers the best finisher to your meal! We usually bike over and site at one of the shady tables outside.

Not overly impressed - Edit
The “blue cheese” wedge salad was the highlight. Both my husband and I loved it! Mac & cheese was a let down for both of us. He didn’t care for the awesome burger. Mint chocolate soft serve in my opinion had a very strange rye bread like aftertaste. He didn’t pick up on that and thought it was alright. Key lime pie was like biting into a block of coconut cream. I always make an effort to support all vegan places as opposed to just ones with vegan options. I feel there is a lot of opportunity for improvement in the flavors of their offerings.
