We checked out this place for the first time tonight and left feeling pretty disappointed. Overall, I was pretty shocked by the lack of quality customer service, especially for a restaurant that charges $23 for a roll of sushi. That being said, the sushi itself was delicious. Very impressive. However, everything else was not so much. The bathrooms were unfortunately dirty; there was black sticky stuff on the floor that got onto my shoes. Then, they accidentally brought our food to another table, had it sit there, and then brought it over to us. This, of course, is a health code violation, and they didn't really handle the situation gracefully. Because we didn't feel comfortable eating food that had already sat at another table with people, rightfully so; we asked to have it taken off of our bill and switched out for something else. The waitress told us that she took care of it, but our replacement appetizer happened to be $5 less than the original. When we checked to ensure that the price was adjusted correctly before leaving, they told us, "we just swapped it out." We actually had to explain why we needed to be refunded for the price discrepancy between the two items. We did end up receiving the five-dollar difference back, but we really shouldn't have had to go that extra mile to correct what clearly was a Florida state health code violation. Also, we had to order at the counter beforehand and pay for our food. Which is strange for a restaurant charging high prices to not have full service. All being said, we definitely will not be returning despite the food being pretty yummy.

This was so delicious, not delicious for vegan food but just delicious! The ramen was the most flavorful I’ve had. Also tried the HOV dumplings, The Burg roll and the Caterpillar. All very good!!! Can’t wait to go back and try some desserts too 🤩 it is WELL worth the price IMO

this is suchhh a fancy and expensive restaurant. but wtf was up with some things there. it was counter service but the sushi is like $20 a roll and the restaurant looks super fancy inside. there was no music playing and it was dead silent. we got the spicy toona roll and it was bussin! then we got the ramen and it was so gross i hoped someone would steal it from my car so i wouldn’t have to feel guilted into eating my leftovers. so basically i learned that if i go to a vegan sushi restaurant, get the freaking sushi and not the ramen

No dead fish! - Edit
My first experience with an all vegan sushi restaurant, and it sets the bar very high. I had HOV dumplings, a Winter Roll and Spicy Crab Roll with mayo on the side. All amazing! The restaurant itself is cute and comfortable. It smelled fabulous from the moment I opened the door. I will be craving these foods and longing to try more, forever.

I was so excited to try this spot (especially since it is 100% vegan) but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. We ordered one beer, tahini dumplings and three rolls ($90 total). The dumplings were hot and tasty but all the rolls we ordered (Volcano, The Burg, Still I Rise rolls) were underwhelming and not to my taste. The mushrooms were flavorless and slimy. The torched avocado on one roll tasted like gas. Large portions but not tasty enough to finish. The server also didn’t note which rolls were which.

I overheard other tables remarking on the long wait time but our food didn’t seem to take too long.
At this price point, I would not try again or recommend.

Great sushi and food overall. We ordered two rolls of sushi (which were good but not anything amazing). The best part of the meal was the dumplings and matcha Tiramisu. Overall we would Defintely eat here again! Side note- We ordered takeout but the ambiance inside looked really nice.

I used to love sushi and this place has the best vegan sushi I have ever had! Hands down spot on flavors and textures. Tried the Nori rolls with Lobstah, "Scallops" and spicy crab made with Lions Mane mushrooms and Oh Man! The chef and staff are amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful! Cannot recommend the food enough! Go try it!

Oh the creativity! These sushi rolls were made with love! Each one was distinct from the others and had great texture for imitation seafood. It is hard to find that and each one was delectable. The desserts were to die for! Went back and got the strawberry matcha tiramisu again the next day. It was a bit odd that you have to order at the front when it is so expensive like a fancier restaurant but it was fine. Must must try if you are a sushi fan!!

One of my go-to experiences for vegan eating in St Petersburg. Thalia and her team consistently deliver an outstanding food experience. I love the way they innovate and deliver new rolls or tastings almost every time I come through. The restaurant is bright and airy and there is available parking across the street so very convenient to drive here. I give it mine unreserved highest recommendation

The sushi was delicious! Pretty good portion sizes too but a little pricey. I guess that’s how sushi always rolls (pun intended). We ordered the King Krab and Rainbow Roll which were tasty. The “tuna” was good! It was too realistic which is preferable for me at least when it comes to raw fish. But the best part was easily the matcha tiramisu. That was absolutely amazing and one of the best tiramisus I’ve ever had.

Read moreWe ordered a soup to share and seaweed salad which came within a reasonable wait but we waited over an hour for our sushi roll. They said they had to make more rice, but was not busy. They apologized and gave us a free dessert. We took the roll to go.
I’d try here again if I’m craving sushi but would definitely order ahead or go expecting a wait for sushi rolls.
