Served non-vegan food and generally poor

Went a few months back and was served up a ‘vegan’ burger with pesto (that wasn’t even listed on the menu). Went up and asked and found out the pesto wasn’t vegan... also lots of other things missing from the burger, including roasted peppers. Poor quality to top it off. Would not return and wouldn’t trust them to produce an actually vegan dish.

Cons: served non-vegan food, poor service , over-priced and bad food

Good Solid Vegan Options

Having tried the Lounges in Southampton it was nice to find this one not far from where my parents live which means it's a good place to go with them as carnists. The vegan menu has grown since I was back in the UK last year, after reading about it I decided to try the Vegan Beyond Cheese Burger and it didn't disappoint, I don't need a meat substitute this was just a very tasty burger with a nice texture. The vegan chocolate orange torte is also well worth it, it's deeply rich so maybe get a coffee to balance it out.
Revisited a few times recently while staying close by, the vegan breakfast is solid.
Always a good place to go with meat eaters although my mum had all vegan tapas this time, I find the vegan breakfast a good choice.

Lots of options

Seperate vegan menu with lots of options. I like the beyond meat cheeseburger.

Spacious, pram friendly venue.
Nothing vegan on kids menu so we usually order a smaller meal, like the vegan sausage butty off the adult vegan menu for the kids.

Cater well for allergies and gluten free if you're in a group with mixed dietary requirements.

Outdoor seating if weather allows

Pros: Gluten free options

It's ok, dog friendly, relaxed atmosphere

We do come here quite often, because you can generally always get a table without booking, it's dog (and cat) friendly, has a really nice relaxed atmosphere, the staff are really nice and the decor is quite cool.

Vegan food on the menu is only slightly above average, I'd say. There's not much choice, the breakfast is good, if quite small, the rest is salads and burgers, couple of token tapas choices, but it's nice and all other things considered (as I mentioned above), it's a really nice restaurant.

If you time it right, they might have a good vegan option on the specials. These are generally the most imaginative and the best choice.

Pros: Lovely atmosphere, Super friendly staff, Nice outdoor seating if weather is good

Cons: Fairly average choice of food, Fairly average standard of food

Vegan menu

A full page of vegan options for brunch or lunch. The vegan burger was excellent but the burrito was a bit tasteless.

Falafel-heavy menu

Firstly, was happy as this place was open earlier than other nearby places on a Sunday for a post-run breakfast.

Secondly, there was a designated vegan menu and staff were very good.

I found the lighting quite dim.
Contrary to the menu listing, the vegan sausage had been discontinued. Falafel was offered as a substitute but I didn't fancy for breakfast.

As I mentioned to the waitress (after enquiring about the sausage) I feel the menu could be improved with meat substitutes such as veggie sausage, bacon, tofu (scrambled etc) rather than spinach and red pepper. Could ha e had more beans.

I also think the mains could be more imaginative (hot meals rather than falafel wraps and burgers). Wouldn't particularly run here again but good as a back up.

Pros: Designated vegan menu. , great staff, reasonable prices

Cons: almost but not quite menu options

Unexpected

This place has quite a few vegan options which are clearly labeled on their own separate menu with the gluten free menu on the reverse which also has quite a few options (menu is viewable on the website), the menu does state to specify vegan when ordering your food. Had the vegan burrito and sweet potato fries which were amazing and my friend had the gluten free vegetarian breakfast which she loved. Cool relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, good place to eat with anyone as the menu is large and varied, will go next time I'm in manchester.
