Feels a bit sterile, but handy vegan option - Edit
As some other people have commented, it felt a bit weird to not even talk to anyone when arriving. The menu is all online, and you order and pay online, so you don't even talk to the (minimal) staff. While some people may enjoy that, it would have added to our experience. I had the kimchi noodles, which were good but not great, and had could have honestly used some extra protein like edamame, tempeh or tofu.

A fantastic Kimchi Burger - Edit
We were in Amsterdam for a concert and needed a place to eat. Happy Cow adviced this place so we went there.
Read moreAs appitizer we shared the "Hummus & Flatbread". As main course we both had the "Kimchi Burger" which was fantastic. As desert we opted for "Choco Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich" and "Apple Cake a La Mode". All food was delicious.
The staff was very kind. Ordering via the app not always went well, but the staff received the orders (one for each course).

I really don't think I like ordering by a website or machine. I was the only one there for a while and the only word spoken to me was hallo when I came in, which felt a bit uncanny. I nipped off for a slash after ordering and my tea and cake were waiting for me when I got back. They do indeed sell roze koek, which is good enough, but everything else I wanted to try was sold out, early on a Wednesday afternoon. I'd give it another try at teatime at a push but there's so many other options not far away and I'd much rather order the old-fashioned way.

We ordered easily from a machine at the front of the shop, so we could see pics and descriptions of all the options. I wanted a light lunch so had the hummus salad bowl. My husband had the pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce.
Read moreMy salad bowl was healthy and wholesome with lots of peas and beans, lovely creamy hummus and some pitta bread triangles. To make it even better I’d have served the bread warm.
My husband enjoyed his pasta, and the meatballs were delicious and made from lentils or beans (we think) rather than strongly trying to replicate meat.
Lovely friendly staff.

Cool spot, right next to the Foodhallen. Good selection of items, had the burrito wrap, nachos and the Korean fried oyster mushrooms. Burrito and nachos were great, but there was too much sauce with the Korean fried oyster mushrooms. They were a little disappointing, when compared to the other items ordered.

Cannot recommend this place enough. A little out of the centre, but on the way to Vondelpark and a great location. The staff were great, and the food was outstanding. Fresh, delicious and comforting. Special mentions for the hummus bowl and the coffee- very high quality. Also a good selection of cakes and pastries which we sadly did not try as we were too full! This place is a must. #Veganuary

Had lunch here with friends. The food was great, good variety of dishes, everything was vegan and decent portion sizes. The restaurant isn’t in one of the most touristy streets so it wasn’t very busy which I really appreciated.

People go here now. This is my new fave place!! I ate an ACTUAL ROZE KOEK!!!!!! Had a delicious "ceasar salad wrap". Didn't taste like a ceasar salad but was delicious either way.

Just a really nice open and airy place with good homemade dishes. And good prices too. Decent beer, coffee. And the all important kids options. Really well thought out. Not heavy junk but a good balance. The kimchi burger hit the spot
