Many creamy vegan flavours - Edit
I’m very happy they extended their creamy vegan flavours! Now more than half of their flavours are vegan.
Read moreTheir date caramel ice-cream was amazingly creamy and caramel-like. I also liked their fig/pistachio/sesame and stracciatella. Their berry-vanilla was quite good but on the watery side, as was the lime/coconut. The choco/hazelnut/orange was creamy but zesty.
The only flavour I disliked was the matcha, because it was watery.

Not just any ice cream parlor - Edit
Ice cream parlor with lots of vegan options. Try a trip to the regions of India with an orange and cardamon sorbet, or maybe delight your senses with a chocolate and cherry milkshake that will rock the very ground you stand on. La la, I applaud thee!

Vegan creamy vanilla ice cream - Edit
Lots of different flavours that are vegan. I especially love the vanilla based on oat milk, very creamy and tasty! Also, they make some interesting combinations with cardamom, saffron, basil or rose water (these can be a little too experimental in my opinion). The flavours change from time to time. I believe you can also have them make a milkshake with plant based milk.

Vegan ice cream! - Edit
About half of the flavors are vegan! Mostly sorbet, but also a few creamy flavors. The cones are also vegan. I paid 3,90 for two cones with one scoop each, so that was fine.

I believe half of their ice cream is vegan and half is not. Nevertheless, there are A LOT of vegan flavors. Chocolate with orange is my favorite.

One of the very best reasons to check out de Hallen is that La La Ijs is right outside. About half of the flavors are always vegan. They have super fresh seasonal flavors as well as creamy vegan flavors like stracciatella, chocolate orange, vanilla and coconut. It's right outside the exit near the library. No indoor seating but lots of benches available in the sunny corridor there.
