A cozy spot with good food - Edit
I tried the cucumber soup, it was rich and comforting, just like homemade. Highly recommend. For the main course, I had the vegan „schabowy” with potatoes and beetroot salad, and it was good as well. I also tried a cherry dessert, which was delicious.

We had the Tartar with a side of chips and the carbonara. The pasta serving was massive and really creamy and filled with great little flavours. The tartar was a decent size and had a really nice flavour. The seeded bread with it was interesting but added a texture when eaten together.
Read moreOnly slight gripe is that we went about 2 hours before closing and they had “run out” of a few different dishes so we couldn’t have exactly what we wanted. But what we had was great.

The food, cozy atmosphere and the service were just outstanding. Pretty crowded for a Tuesday evening, but it was worth the wait! I had a yummy seitan steak and a ginger hot drink and I can recommend it 100% if you're in Warsaw. I don't remember the last time I ate such a great seitan steak.

I had fond memories of this place since 2018 when I last properly spent some time in Warsaw, and needed to check it out again as I’ve been recommending it to everyone ever since. I remembered Lokal Vegan Bistro to be more colourful and alive as a community gathering spot, but maybe it’s the season (mid-Winter), day of the week (Tuesday) and time of the day (an hour before closing time) that were to blame now. The menu is as intriguing as ever, featuring traditional and fusion dishes. I let my curiosity pick for me and ordered the pumpkin soup and Caesar salad. Mainly because I had never had clear pumpkin soup nor yuba (roasted soy milk “skin”) before. I got the last bowl of the soup that day, and could only spot a few pieces of yuba, but the dish was nevertheless good and full of flavour. The Caesar salad surprised me with the sauce — there was a lot of it, and it was rich in umami, complementing the lettuce and adding a zing to the nuggets and croutons. As I was enjoying my meal, I could notice the friendly atmosphere created through laid-back interactions between staff and regulars. A nice place to return to with friends.

The service was super nice, didn't have to wait long for soup or main dish.

I went here as had read all the great reviews. The menu had some interesting options but nothing unusual. I wanted to order the seitan steak but they were sold out. I instead ordered the carbonara. The dish took a while to arrive (no starters ordered). I got a exceptionally large stack of spaghetti- way too much, it was enough for 2 people. It was too much, I couldn’t finish and to be honest, didn’t taste good - the sauce was bland and hard to eat. I also didn’t enjoy my wine spritz - no spritz, it tasted awful. Unfortunately later on, both myself and my friend felt unwell after the food. I won’t be returning - very disappointing experience.

This place is so unassuming but delicious! We had dinner here our first night, and we can't wait to go back. My husband and I shared the carbonara (very popular in the reviews, and also highly recommended by our server) and the fried cutlet with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Both were so good, but the carbonara was the winner. The service was very helpful and friendly too. Definitely give this place a try!

It think its safe to say that this was some of the best potatoe salad I ever had. Maybe it was the simplicity of the dish, but something in there just really hit the spot. I wish I would have had the chance to try more of their dishes, as the meals of the other guests looked amazing as well. Portion size was huge, the meal left nothing else to wish for.
