Great Vegan place

Highly recommend this vegan place. Menu has about 5 items each week which changes sometimes for variety. All options are made in front of you and is great quality. I usually have a hot chocolate while waiting for food. Dean and Chris are amazing. You're in great hands with them. If you're ever in Windsor then go see them. #Veganuary

Pros: Stand out simple menu, Tasty homemade food, Great customer service from Dean and Chris

Great Start to the Day!

Thanks to Happy Cow we were led straight to this funky warehouse unit. We sat on cushioned pallets with the autumnal sunshine gently warming our backs. Drinks were ordered and a rather enormous BLT joined us at the table. The coffee is artisan and spot-on, the food honest and the people interesting and creative, all whilst offering 100% vegan food and drink. Hard not to like this place. Very much!

Pros: 100% vegan, Lovely people, Colourful and creative ambiance

The style in which the place is made is really cool

It's a little further away from the centre but worth the visit.

Hidden gem.

Weekend in Windsor, found this place on Happy Cow, it's tucked away on a small industrial estate not far from the train station and coach park.

It's a relaxed little place, with a simple but enticing menu. I had a BLT, which was AMAZING! Along with a cold beer and Bakewell cake.

Really lovely staff. Chilled reggae tunes being played, just a great place to chill away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

Definitely check this place out if you want good food.

Pros: Simple menu, Amazing flavours , Friendly staff

Amazing Vegan BLT

I come here for the Vegan BLT. It’s a great version with avocado and sriracha. The whole cafe is plant-based, so I can just order a BLT and a latte, knowing it’s vegan and oat milk

Pros: Great food and drink, Plenty of space to sit, Friendly and welcoming

Delicious vegan food and coffee

Helpful friendly staff. Tasty food. Excellent coffee and cake. Alcohol is served if you want it which is nice as we had a rum with our coffee. The coffee was lovely. Little disappointed they ran out of BLT over 2 hours before closing, and the cakes looked like they would be running out soon too. Not sure how this happens? If you don't have the stock pop out and buy it as you could lose business as a result. The band was a nice touch but a bit too loud really. Overall very good experience highly recommend.

Pros: All vegan, Really friendly helpful staff

Cons: Live band music bit too loud, Running out of stuff early in the day

Fabulous vegan cafe

I've been meaning to try this place out for a while now and it was well worth the wait. It's a little off the beaten track but just a 10 minute walk from Windsor & Eton Riverside Station. Quirky venue, cool vibe, friendly welcome and most importantly, delicious food. The menu is small and changes regularly. We didn't try the cakes but they looked great. My only complaint was that it was a bit chilly inside and I didn't have enough layers on. But next time I'll know! Looking forward to going back again soon.

Pros: 100% vegan, Delicious food, Great vibe

I love this place - best vegan spot in Windsor

I first spotted this team outside a brewery where they served up an amazing Korean Hot Dog and I knew had to try more. Since then I have been to the cafe a few times and it's absolutely brilliant. They have a great drinks menu, all very reasonably priced, and oat milk is the default milk (of course!).
The food is another level. They use the freshest ingredients and make everything from scratch - that quality comes out in the food.
So far I've had their BLT, a few different sausage rolls, and a cinnamon roll, and today I tried their Reuben Sandwich. It had jackfruit rather than corned beef and was cooked to perfection, delicious!
The staff are passionate and a delight to talk to, and it's also part of a nonprofit so another great reason for you to go.
The only issue I have is that they're very creative and keep coming up with new dishes that I have to keep going back to try!

Pros: Amazing taste, Price, Ambience

Cool atmosphere

Really liked this place, stopped in to break up a long journey and worked here for an hour or so in the morning. The team were really lovely and friendly, the project is a not for profit related to an attached dance and yoga studio. There's a cool, community vibe and they host events and bands. When I went there it was quiet and an ideal spot for working.
One thing I especially loved was the phrase 'Oat milk is our standard milk' after so many places telling me cows milk is 'normal milk' and the milk I normally have is 'alternative', it's a little thing but it felt nice.
Had a couple of teas and some yummy cake, all ver reasonably priced. #Veganuary

Cabaret Supper Club absolute knock out!

We were welcomed outside with a glass of fizz and a fire eater. Upon going upstairs to eat there was a jazz DJ in the restaurant which was set out with two long tables, so it was a sociable affair. We had canapés before we sat down and they and the three course meal were beyond tasty. Taco starters were followed by roast squash with a rich miso aubergine, then a chocolate truffle desert which was heaven! The cabaret was great, in between courses so we could really enjoy the food. The artist was original and friendly, commanding our attention and showing off her circus skills and thought provoking poetry. Highly recommend

Pros: All vegan , Great value for money , Drinks extra so you could have what you wanted

Lovely food but too loud

I was really looking forward to going to the Loading bay cafe, when I could finally go I decided to have a catch up with a friend and relax and take my dog to also chill with.
The staff seemed friendly but the music was way too loud to be able to have a conversation plus my dog was a bit stressed from the noise. Plus they covered my food in coriander without asking or advertising it as an ingredient on the dish, I can’t stand it.
A shame for a great place with lots of potential.
Lovely food though…

Pros: Lovely food, Good location to the park

Cons: Too loud, Coriander

Vegan,not-for-profit, community gem!

I have been to the Loading Bay Cafe a few times now and feel so lucky it is there being the only vegan cafe in Windsor. They do seriously good coffee with a choice of vegan milks and the 'bacon' sandwich is amazing with it's lovely thick homemade tempeh. I am vegan but I took my non-vegan mum who equally enjoyed the 'bacon' sandwich! I have tried many a vegan cake elsewhere and am pleased to say the loading bay ones hit the mark with my children as well as me. The bakewell tart is a must and the brownie also hot the spot. Cant wait to try more from their menu!

Funky furniture and an unusual location, they have a great atmosphere and a genuine ethos being not-for-profit and also a community cafe. The staff are very friendly and I have shared some nice chats with them. They were kind enough to sports that mum would appreciate a high back chair and went and got her one. It's all about the community. The loading bay also has a dance studio round the side (which my daughter has really enjoyed and regular events/musical offerings. It's not far from town or the river really, you just have to seek it out!

Pros: Vegan only, Not for Profit, Community, good vibe, worth seeking out

Cons: Wish it was open more days and longer hours
