Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian food restaurant in Freighthouse Square food court. Offers many vegetarian choices and will make an item vegan upon request. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-7:00pm.
The food was delicious! I got the spinach naan and the dal makhani, which came with a side salad. The food was ready quickly and the employees were very friendly.
I might need to give this place another try based on other reviews, but so far, we have not been super impressed. Would I eat here if I found myself hungry at Freighthouse Square? Absolutely. Would I make it a destination? No.
The lentil soup and the channa masala are delicious! I highly recommend. Some of the other things I’ve tried (malai kofta, for example) have been big misses for me.
The staff here is really nice and they’re good about spicing up your food in a way you’ll like! Freighthouse Square is basically a train station with shops and a food court, so it’s crowded when the trains are scheduled and the atmosphere is extremely casual.
There is free parking in the building across the road and it’s right on the Link path so it’s very accessible, but on weekdays it can be hard to find parking because of the bus and train commuters.

Curry & Salad. Very tasty. The default is mild but you can request spicy.

Yummy! - Edit
I loved that their fairly large vegetarian menu said anything could be made vegan.

We had a spinach with tofu (like Pallak paneer) and a daal. Both very good flavor.
