Casual comfort eats in a fun setting

We enjoyed this Tacoma eatery. It was casual and unpretentious.
Despite a menu that emphasized heavier, comfort food fare, I was able to order a large salad. Although not listed on the menu, staff were more than happy to add black beans to the salad. Another member of our party enjoyed a veggie wrap.
The service was excellent; the food arrived promptly; and we very much enjoyed sitting outdoors.

So good

The food here is so good, I've been a couple times and love it more every time I go. The vegan cheese is perfect, the menu is clear with what's vegan and not. It's a super inclusive space and has amazing vibes and the food tastes so good.

Outstanding effort, though not a robust vegan spot.

I am allergic to dairy, so i often opt for vegan selections. The staff were awesome in accommodating my restrictions. Truly a great service experience. The vegan choices seem to be limited to the burger portion of the menu. My girlfriend had a classic, and I had a modified Dusty's. They do have a build your own section of the menu that offers beyond patty and chao cheese and vegan queso. I want to say my bun was also gluten-free. We both agreed the food was worth the price and the service can't be beat.
We sat outside as it was a great day to do so. It is a fine location, and on the day we went, it was devoid of heavy traffic and all issues associated with it. Plenty of seating spaced so it doesn't feel crowded. Oh! outside seating is dog friendly! Our lil' preference picky purse princess loved the puppy patty!
Just in case it is helpful, the front outside seating looked chair accessible.

I pretty much ONLY do reviews for places I have liked, and this is one I know i will return to. It's definitely a good spot to meet up with your omnomnivore friends.

Pros: Accommodations were happily met, great service!, The price to serving size is justified., Food was actually tasty and very satisfying.

Cons: Not close enough to my house. ;p
