No vegan option

I came to this restaurant thanks to another comment here, hoping they would have vegan options. Unfortunately, it was not possible to adapt any dish to make it vegan, and all vegetarian options contained cheese, animal cream, or eggs.
Once we found the solution of ordering the “La Balzac” salad without the cheese samoussas, the waitress didn’t even offer me the possibility to order a starter, saying, “A starter? Oh no, it was already complicated enough with your order.”
She wasn’t mean (and it was the rush hour) but clearly not vegan-friendly.
Not suitable for vegan people.

Pros: Good quality: a few homemademenu options, Nice looking place

Cons: Unaware of vegan diets, Not very patient with vegan requests

Nice food!

They had a whole vegetarian section in the menu which I didn’t see often in Paris. Upon request they created a delicious vegan dish with a lot of fresh vegetables and quinoa for me - exactly what I needed! Also friendly service and cute atmosphere with outdoor seating!
