As a bar desination, this place is pretty good. I've only been a couple of times, so I am no expert on this place but if you are hanging out in Oly and want some vegan food to go with the booze and whatnot, then you can do a lot worse. The fries are pretty good, the beer sellection is from all over the world and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is laid back and Oly hippy and perfect for a guy like me. Good location if you are wandering the streets and want to crash for a few and as there are no real vegan restaruants in down town, this place does the trick.

Great place for late night vegan eats in Olympia - Edit
Finally had the pleasure to visit the all vegan Le Voyeur in downtown Olympia. In addition to hosting shows and events on a regular basis, they have a hearty regular menu of burgers, hot dogs, sammiches, wings and fries and on some weekends .. they run absolutely drool worthy specials. We were visiting a dear vegan friend in Olympia last night which served as the perfect occasion to visit Le Voyeur for the first time (although our friend had been there before).
Read moreI was super excited to try their weekend special, Kimchi Melt, consisting of Kimchi, bacun, caramelized onions, gochujang mayo, impossible patty and melted cheez on grilled sourdough. The sammich was a beautiful mess and a fork was a definite necessity to devour everything that dropped down to the plate. Admittedly, my picture did not begin to do this sammich justice so I'm including a picture of their FB post as well. I'm not sure what type of bacun they used for their sammiches but it was amazing, great flavor and texture, really adds a lot to the meal.
In addition, their garlic fries were yummy ... can't really go wrong with those! Their Carolina BBQ Wings were nothing short of amazing, a great chew and flavor as they pull apart from the center sugarcane center ("bone") and can be ordered with a choice of either Ranch or Bleu Cheez dressing.
There's a quite a few super compelling choices for all vegan establishments when stopping by Olympia. This definitely needs to be on your list and is the only one that you'll find open late night.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Olympia! The burgers and animal fries are to die for. The portions are extremely huge! We split the animal fries and still have several servings left to take home. The vibe inside is very punk and filled with art. I can't recommend this place enough! I got the bacon cheeseburger and my husband got the chubby dubby and we both agreed they were phenomenal!

I played at Le Voyeur on tour with my old band waaayyyy back in 2003. Just played there with my newer band over 20 years later and they are still slinging vegan bar food and drinks and hosting DIY all ages punk shows and they do it so well. Long live Le Voyeur. For fans of vegan burgers, hot dogs, fries covered in sauces, and big salads with vegan protein on top.

I love the food here and love the vibes even more. There are shows playing all the time, and there's always something to do/see here. The specialty drinks are always changing so there's always something new to try. Also, I will say the sandwiches can be messy but it's so worth it! Try out the Animal Fries or Burger, that's my fav. They also have specials on weekends and wednesdays. loveeee them💗

Quirky find where at first you feel like you’re at a small counter spot to order food to go or eat at a couple tables, but nope there’s a bar space behind and further back another hall (unable to fully venture due to a paid performance) to a stage like area.

Bacon cheese burger was very good. The grilled cheese was amazing, wish there were more options like it, without the fake stuff. The fries portion was huge and they were incredible! Such great flavors! We tried four of their special cocktails. They had very intense delicious flavors.

It’s always awesome to have an all vegan place. The menu is burgers, hot dogs, wings and loaded fries. If you don’t like impossible burgers then this wouldn’t be the place for you. Not fantastic that was the only option. Great dive bar atmosphere and the cheez they used for their loaded fries was quite good.

I spent a lot of time at this place in college and it's changed shockingly little since then--except that it's all vegan! Brought omnivores here recently and as far as they would admit, they were all happy.
Read moreIf you want spick-and-span cleanly, it's not your place. If you want friendly, again, maybe not be the joint for you. (The vibe is very much like: why are you here? Why don't you already know how everything works?) Which, in fairness, I remember being pretty universal in Olympia.
But if you just want a damn good vegan sandwich, it's hard to beat. Also back in the day I remember the average wait time was about 50 minutes. Either Le Voyeur has gotten quicker, or we lucked out, because everything came out super fast.
I had the Animal: amazing. No sides unless you order 'em.
If you order fries, they use like 5 potatoes per basket. You've been warned.
Makes me greatly miss the Highline in Seattle (RIP).

I've eaten here more times than I probably should have since Kevin and Jamie took over, and every time it's been absolutely delicious. I have yet to have a single thing that I wouldn't eat again. Hands down the animal fries are the way to go, but you can't go wrong with any of the burgers or dogs. They also have some of the best vegan wings I've ever had. The texture is spot on for what I look for in a wing and whether you get the Carolina BBQ or the buffalo you won't be disappointed.

Food was really good, but the best part was the decor. It was so fun! Drinks are really inexpensive, and I loved the vegetable soup I got with my burger. We were really pleased with the selection! I haven’t been back since they turned fully vegan, but I’ll definitely be making a stop next time I’m in Olympia.
