brews and burritos - Edit
I looked this place up before visiting Portland, and knew I had to pay a visit. They had far more options and were far tastier than your average burrito joint (I'm looking at you, Chipotle). Their craft beer selection was great for an out-of-towner like myself, as it allowed me get a taste of some of Portland's famous local brews. Overall a great time!

Yum! - Edit
I had a burrito (giant!), a beer, and chips/salsa. Everything tasted great and I was served quickly despite a sizable crowd. I would definitely come back.
Pros: Food, Speed of service
Cons: None

I love Laughing Planet! - Edit
I've been to several of the Laughing Planet locations in Portland, and this one is my favorite. As with all locations, they are very vegan friendly (and dog friendly as well!). The staff is awesome, and the food delicious and inexpensive. I particularly like their vegan soup choices, Highway to Kale salad (minus the cheese), and the Eat Your Veggies bowl. The vegan sour cream is delicious, and I adore the house made hot sauce. For a treat, the vegan double chocolate cookies are wonderful. Outside seating is lovely, as is the rooftop!
Pros: awesome food!, nice location, cookies! beer! vegan sour cream!

Just what I needed - Edit
I went to this place for dinner on the day I arrived in Portland, and it was close to my hotel and had a great vegan selection. I got a big black bean burrito with vegan sour cream and it really hit the spot.
Pros: location

Fast and Delicious - Edit
Great place to go with a mixed veg/non-veg crowd. Definitely has something for everyone. Filling but nutritious burritos and bowls are great both on the go and to enjoy outside on the patio. Just across the street from Jameson Square in the Pearl, good for families and kids.

Better than Mcdonalds - Edit
A fun atmosphere, however this place is a national chain that sources their chicken from a factory farm (Draper Valley Farms). Almost all or all of their produce is not organic. But it is a fun place otherwise.
Pros: fun atmosphere
Cons: national chain, non organic produce, factory chickens

k118 22 Feb 2013 - I think you might want to do some more research. Laughing Planet is not a national chain. They are owned and operated locally with 6 locations in Portland and 1 in Eugene. Not all of their produce is organic, but a great deal is and a great deal is also local. Although I do not eat meat, Draper Valley Farms is a far cry from a "factory farm" and they are also locally owned and operated and are extremely conscious of there practices, you can check them out here: http://www.drapervalleyfarms.com/index.htm
Overall Laughing Planet is extremely aware of everything from their menu down to their environmental footprint. Not to mention the food is excellent, quick, and nutritious.
