A pleasant vegetarian place in Gandia, near the sea - Edit
Despite its modest apparel and lack of vegetarian competition in town, the restaurant is a fantastic, positive surprise. We can recommend it to anybody, they simply serve great food!

Vegan takes on authentic Valencian dish - Edit
The main menu is mostly 'cocas'. Which is a kind of Valencian bread/pastry served akin to a pizza here. I loved the one I chose. Also gluten free if that's your thing.
Read moreThe place is quite small with a terrace area and an indoor area. It was quite busy inside when I went, but I was the only one on the terrace (probably because 18°C is warm for a Brit 😂)
Friendly server (not sure if the owner) who brought me a free starter of lentils.
Would go back here again.

We were really happy to find one completely vegan and gluten-free restaurant. The food was excellent and so was the service. We were asked to try the wine first before getting a glass served and got a small starter from the kitchen. The flavours are amazing! We will definitely come back!

Currently the only vegan restaurant in Gandía, L’Anfora was an absolute joy to visit. They have a lovely interior terrace full of plants and very kind service. The menu vegan and gluten free tapas, main dishes and some desserts, and they specialize in Coca, which is kind of a gluten free pizza. They have a vast selection of wine, beer, and refreshments like kombucha too. We had the mushroom ceviche, gazpacho, tofu-roasted pepper- chutney-cheese coca, and moussaka. Fully recommend!

Comer en Ánfora ha sido una experiencia gratamente deliciosa. Lo encontré de pura casualidad mirando en maps sitios veganos en Gandía para llevar a mi madre - que no es vegana - a probar platos plant-based. La atención del personal es excelente. El camarero ha sido muy agradable con nosotras, nos ha recomendado cantidades y nos ha atendido con mucho cariño. Por lo que respecta a la comida, una sorpresa. En maps las fotos que hay colgadas no hacen justicia a la apariencia real de los platos. Y de sabor... Todo un 10! Recomendación: la burguer vegana (que la hacen ellxs y está buenísima) y la coca de seitan, pimiento, queso... De verdad, una maravilla de comida y a un precio económico. Mi madre y yo hemos salido alucinadas!

Gent molt amable i detallista. Amb opcions sense gluten. El servici va ser bastant lent (probablement degut a la baixa inesperada d'un cambrer, segons ens digueren). Carta bastant concisa, com a plats principals sols hi ha coques (que són com pizzes) o hamburguesa.

Wat een leuk restaurant is dit! Absoluut a must go als je in Gandía bent. Ze kunnen nog wel wat klanten gebruiken want het was erg rustig. Maar dat is zeker niet vanwege het eten want dat was erg lekker! Wij hadden verschillende gerechten waaronder 2 coca's (Spaanse pizza) en gnocchi welke allemaal erg lekker waren. Wij hadden ook het meest vriendelijke en lieve meisje aan onze tafel die ons die avond verzorgde. Zo ontzettend lief en tijd voor een praatje wauw, zij is absoluut van waarde voor de beleving van het restaurant! De atmosfeer is ook goed, zeker in het voorgedeelte van het restaurant is de aankleding gezellig en cozy.

We arrived and asked for a dish, but due to a spanish holiday it wasn’t available. The second choice was a burger and some wrinkeled potato. And tho a simple dish, it had great tastes. I can only imagine the combined other foods, but I think i will be great as well! Enjoy your visit!

Being the only 100% vegan restaurant in Gandia the place was a must see. Really attentive and friendly service. Outside seating was very cozy with a peaceful vibe. Food was excellent, especially the potatoes, papas arrugas, left us craving for more. Strongly recommended!

L'Amfora at the Grau in Gandia was amazing, everything we had was so tasty but the coca was my favourite. The waiter was really friendly and helpful. I live nearby and we're not exactly spoilt for choice so it was such a treat and we'll definitely go again.

La comida muy rica y variada. La atención y el servicio fabuloso, estuvieron muy atentos explicándonos los diferentes platos. Hay carta y plato del día (menú), también para las cenas (hasta el sábado). Regresaremos pronto para probar nuevos platos. Totalmente recomendable.

We arrived and were excited by the nice atmosphere of the place. We went there for having dinner but it would be definitely worth a visit for just having drinks, as well.
