Great find

Glad i stumbled upon this place. My dish (mushroom something) was very good - flavorful, filling and inexpensive. Service was great as well. Check it out. It is so worth it.

Pros: all veg, service, price

So good!

We ordered the macaroni, Khao soi, penang curry, vegetables in curry paste and passionfruit smoothie. Everything was amazing! Will definitely be ordering again. Everything about 50 baht. 😊😊

Pros: Very cheap and amazing taste.

Nice Evening Market Treat

Lots of cheap vegan Thai dishes made from rice, noodles, soup, curry.. 50 bahts and very accommodating, you can ask no-fry and no-oil, they would kindly steam your vegetables for your dish.

Pros: Accommodating (oil-free on request), Cheap, Decent portion

Banging

Proper bloody banging this was. Had fry red curry paste vegetables(not spicy) with red rice and a spring roll which was 65 baht!

Cheap and good vegan Thai food stall

Went twice, both times food was great and so cheap it's hard to believe. Seating options are totally fine considering it's a stall.
Highly recommended.

Pros: Convenient location, Lots of options, Cheap

Delicious food and kind people

I went there almost every night. My favorite dish is stir fry vegetables & tofu with holy basil. It is sooo good. I also recommend you to try noodle soup. Everything is 50 baht.

Good Thai food

We ordered a Penang and a red curry and weren't disappointed: the portions were well sized, tasted quite good and so the 50 Baht per dish were well invested.

Cheap and tasty food

Good price point for good food. There are other places in Chiang Mai where can also eat at this price and might have a bit better atmosphere, but nonetheless we enjoyed it and recommend the food.

Pros: Cheap tasty food

👍🏻👍🏻

Khao soi was different than any other khao soi I've had before, but delicious. Panang curry was also very good. Only 100B total for both.

Tasty and cheap

All made to order dishes that cost B50. Had the Khao Soi and the red curry, both were great. Does serve egg in some dishes

delicious and cheap

everything is cooked fresh to order and only 50 baht. also have cheap samosas and spring rolls.
one menu items says it has egg in it? so maybe be cautious about other items. i got the vegetable and tofu w red curry. it’s flavourful and the portion size was super generous.

Delicious, fresh, cheap

I love Lada! The food is fresh, the staff is incredibly kind and friendly, and the price is very cheap (about 50 baht/dish). So many options to try and almost everything is vegan or can be made vegan. Some favorites: mushroom green curry, khao soy (sub rice noodle for vegan option), noodle tofu vegetable soup, fried rice.

Pros: Many vegan options, Cheap (50 baht/dish), Friendly staff

Vegan Street Food

I loved finding a vegan street food vendor in among the other carts! The staff was incredibly nice, even giving me samples of several of the dishes out front. I understand the other reviewers who were not crazy about the noodle dishes and agree that I probably won’t bothering ordering from the menu again because the pre-made dishes out front were all incredible! Super flavorful and a wide variety to choose from. The prices are as cheap as it gets - standard non veg street food prices. Everything was perfectly clean and fresh. Delicious bottles of fresh sugar-free juices also. I’m obsessed with passionfruit and the “juice” was a whole bottle of passionfruit filling - seeds and all - which to me is heaven.

Pros: Intensely flavorful vegan food, Fresh & clean, Super nice staff

Not what I was expecting

I found this place by accident so I can't say I was disappointed, but nothing on the menu looked particularly Thai. It was mostly rice and tvp/tofu dishes. I had the spicy mushrooms and tofu. It was a little spicy and that was about it. Maybe other things are good and maybe dinner isn't the time to go. On the up side it's cheap and veg.

Pros: Cheap

Can't recommend the pad see ew

I guess I chose the wrong dish but the pad see ew was really bland and had only few pieces of morning glory and tofu. Portion was pretty small compared to other stalls and although I paid only 50B, I think the price was still a bit high for what I got.

It's nice to have an entire vegetarian stall in the city center, though :)

Pros: Close to city center, Classic Thai dishes

Cons: Small portions, Pad see ew is bland

Nice to have vegetarian options

The food is not outstanding but good and it is very nice to have vegetarian options among all the meat options. The menu with photos is very convenient and the portions are big enough. The pad Thai was the best dish of the 5 we took. They also have tables and chairs to eat on the spot.

Pros: Many choices , Fresh food , quick service

Cons: some dishes are tasteless

Very good Khao Soi from Lada veg stall

We ate there on Saturday evening, so the whole market was really crowded and it took quite a long time to order food and then get it. But it was worth it! Our Khao soi noodle dish was very tasty, flavourful and authentic, not
" the tourist" version. Portion size was also good for 50 baths.
This stall has extensive menu with classic Thai meals and lot of mushrooms, everything for 50 Baths.

Pros: Very good food, Freshly made, Clean as how it could be on the street

Cons: Crowded and slow on Saturday evening

Inexpensive and tasty

We went here on a Saturday night and it was super busy but our food was prepared pretty quick and it was good. I got the stir fried mixed vegetable with rice, and my wife got the tom yum soup. Both were very good. My wife even asked for some rice noodles to be added to the soup, which they did free of charge.

We also got two of the samosas that were featured at the front for only 15 thb each, which were also very good, but a little on the greasy side. Total for both of us was 130 thb, but we didn't have any drinks. Would definitely eat here again for a quick inexpensive local meal.

Pros: Good Food, Quick service, Friendly staff

Cons: Fried food can be greasy
