La Poutine
Serves meat, vegan options available. Offers 4 vegetarian choices on the menu and can easily be made vegan by using Daiya cheese instead of real cheese. The traditional gravy is 100% vegan. Very small and cozy with seating for about 10 inside and a few more outside.

Vegan poutine options available - Edit
La Poutine makes a pretty good vegan poutine (well, not as good as mine, but you know, pretty close!). Their standard gravy recipe is vegan, and they offer Daiya cheese as well as other vegetable toppings. This is a good place for when you want to treat yourself to a little greasy-food binge. I prefer to go there in the summer, as there is very little indoor seating available. Your best bet is to get your order as takeout.
Pros: yummy poutine
Cons: small shop, no parking, don't even try

Solid option - Edit
The vegan poutines on offer - and there are two - are very good, and the fries are some of the very best in Edmonton. Keep in mind this a very small place, and not good to visit with more than two people in winter. When it gets warm, there is outdoor seating, though its a busy street. Personally, i think the prices are fair for poutine and the portions are large.

vegan poutine! - Edit
Long story short: they have vegan poutine.
Short story long: Prices are a bit on the high end, sometimes the cheese doesn't completely melt (it's Daiya cheese), you can also add veggies as extra toppings but it can get costly pretty quick for essentially fries, gravy and cheese. It is a small place meant for takeout but they do have a few tables and chairs.
Pros: Poutine?
Cons: Expensive, Limited Seating

Soo excited to find this place - Edit
After I had discovered NY Fries poutine as a teenager I was hooked. When I went vegan I was sad that this was one of the things I would have to give up. Not anymore! Ooey gooey, cheezy awesomeness awaits those who dare enter! They also have some interesting ingredients like peas that you can add to your fries. The only downfall I find about it is that the pricing is a little steep. It is twice the price of normal poutine and finding a spot to sit and eat in the small resteraunt is never easy. Parking is always a pain in this area as well. Still tastiness wins out.
Pros: Comfort food at its best, great sharing food
Cons: parking sucks, Seating is almost non existant, Sort of pricey
