Great Italian food and hospitality - Edit
Really loved the pasta with aubergine sauce, and the focaccia with spinach and potatoes had a great flavour and garlic taste. The crust was nice and soft and the base was crispy. I would have preferred both to be white flour even though I know wholemeal and spelt is more nutritious.
Read moreThe coffee cream sponge cake was a very nice flavour, it was cream texture though, I didn't detect any sponge texture.
The staff were friendly and prices very reasonable, both a very welcome change from the German parts of Switzerland, where we had just spent time in.

Tasty Veganized Italian food with a twist - Edit
Eating at la colubrina was a delightful experience. It was a great choice to experience Italian cuisine but didn’t try to stick to much to the original source material. It was a playful vegan take on those dishes😄
Read morePros: The friendly service (English speaker too), The Melanzana alla parmigiana (an umami bomb), The Cafe Gourmand to try out different deserts
Cons: It is on the pricier side but well justified , Portions are great if you take primi and secondi, So plan that in your budget I’d say ;)

Cannot recommend - Edit
The owner seemed nice and passionate about veganism, so it really pains me to say this—the food was subpar and amateurish. I don't think we went on an off night, because I came here again the next day for lunch just to see if I'd missed something and was left equally underwhelmed. The pizza at dinner was particularly disappointing. It was underbaked, had no chew, no char, no bubbles. The toppings were thrown on it after it came out of the oven. The lunch dish I had was supposed to be meatballs with black rice. But the meatballs turned out to be one tiny, mushy, bland veggie patty. Seriously, mushy veggie patties are so 90s.
Read moreFood quality aside, there were a few issues. The dinner menu was too big and confused. The busy layout for sure didn't help. The same ingredients appeared throughout the menu. There were a lot of shiitake mushrooms and pumpkin puree, which they used as crepe filling, pasta sauce, pizza sauce, and cake icing. At the same time, several items on the menu were unavailable. The table next to us actually walked out because of that. Service was slow, especially at dinner. If it was due to staffing issues, then all the more reason to simplify the menu.
Cons: meh food, repetitive ingredients, slow service

Tasty food and nice staff - Edit
I would recommend to go in the evening if you have the chance, as they offer a small menu during lunch. Everything is tasty and flavor full. If you are searching for vegan cheese like blue cheese or Camembert ask the staff. You might get the chance to by homemade cheese from them.

Atmosfera e sapori favolosi - Edit

good but not the best - Edit
The food was good. The burger way too small for its price (or as a whole meal to be eaten without anything else).

Great range - Edit
Great range of food although perhaps too many choices! From reading the other reviews on here I don't think we tried thier best options - perhaps less menu options would suit them better.

Ok food, interesting menue - Edit
The menue is interesting and the staff very friendly. The food was only ok tho. Was expecting something better. We had the risotto and the burger. The risotto looked weird, the taste was good. The veggies in the burger dish were overcooked and tasteless. The food in general didn‘t look so good. The sweet stuff seems to be the good food there, savory not so much.

Sinceramente, visti i prezzi, ci aspettavamo del cibo altrettanto buono, così purtroppo non è stato. Forse era meglio prendere una semplice pizza.

Authentic food - Edit
La Colubrina has authentic food, made with love. At lunch there are a few mixed menus to choose from and at dinner there are much more options. We went there for lunch and had two different menus and an additional carbonara as a primo piatto. A menu includes a dish, water and dessert. What I loved the most was the carbonara, the mocha cake and think the focaccia (which bread seemed more like the pizza one) with zucchini and tahini (sesame seeds cream) was really interesting! The place is decorated in a tradition style and the staff is very nice.

Unfortunately I had only one night in Milano. I went to this place and ordered a pizza con shitake. The pizza was not only very 'Buono' but also not unhealthy like most pizza's are. The dough, for example, was integrale. After I ordered the tirimasuo. It was amazing. The owner also explained me how she made it and that also this one was not unhealthy.

Best Pizza I've ever eaten - Edit
We recently had the pleasure of dining at La Colubrina and it was an experience to remember! My partner and I decided to try the cheese degustation and the two bruschetta as a starter and we were blown away by the amazing vegan cheese. The camembert and blue cheese were definitely the highlights of the degustation.
Read moreFor our main dish, we ordered the Pizza Colubrina with blue cheese, and it was hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten. The dough was homemade, and the combination of flavors was just perfect.
Aside from the amazing food, the staff and owner of La Colubrina were also extremely friendly and welcoming. It was clear that they were passionate about veganism and creating delicious vegan dishes.
Last but not least, the dessert was also amazing. It was the perfect ending to our meal. We paid approx. 100€ for everything.
Overall, I highly recommend La Colubrina for anyone looking for a delicious vegan dining experience. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere were all top-notch. I can't wait to go back.

Amazing - Edit
Great textures and flavors. I had the Cinderella pizza- for me it was perfect. Crunchy tasty with greens so it feels light and wow that truffle. Yum. The white chocolate sponge cake tasted like I was eating a cloud. The rice noodles with root cream- to die for! WONDERFUL staff. Tommy goes above and beyond. He is so passionate about veganism, it’s lovely. The chef is very kind too, she is normally checking everyone out so be sure to let her know what you thought of your meal. She is awesome! Love this place 🥹
