So good we visited twice - Edit
An incredible vegan find in central Milan. Friendly and knowledgable English speaking staff. I was visiting with my daughter who is allergic to nuts and they were really helpful and reassuring. There is a full three course menu of vegan delights including salads, gazpacho and seiten. All food is prepared freshly and seasonally. Extensive wine and drinks list. Apperitivo available if booked in advance. Atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. We didn’t book and they could accommodate us. The Pizzas were amazing. A must visit if you’re a vegan in Milan.

Excellent meal in a really nice restaurant - Edit
The restaurant would be easy to miss, but that would be your loss. Really nicely decorated with helpful and enthusiastic staff.
Read moreThe menu is interesting and fully vegan.
Slightly pricey, but worth it.
In a country where veganism is a distant concept, this was a rare fine.
Pros: Interesting menu, Enthusiastic staff, An oasis in a meat and cheese desert

La Colubrina is the place where you can eat vegan in a very familiar and cozy place and menu. In a short stay in Milan, I went there twice to better explore the menu, which is impressive. The desserts are incredible!

I would go back - Edit
Being there for lunch, I got a menu consisting of a main dish, a small dessert and half a liter of water for 16,50€. While I really enjoyed the main dish, I was disappointed by the dessert and the water. The former was randomly selected by the staff, so everybody got a different one. The later was served in a plastic bottle, which creates unnecessary waste. I suggest to give people the choice for the desserts and to serve tap water in a jug. However, I am curious to go back in the evening.

Really Enjoyable Evening - Edit
This was a great place to dine! The food was good. Wine was good. They have their own cheese creations which works well with their pizza selection. I usually avoid vegan cheese on pizzas because, well, I think they fall short. But not so in this restaurant!! The combination of tastes was excellent.
Read moreFor appetizers we shared a salad and lentils. I had the Colubrina pizza of course. Followed up with a mango bon sitting in raspberry. I’m still dreaming about that!!!
From our experience the service was good and the staff was fine. The place has a lot of ambiance. Got to meet the Owner/Pastry Chef/Cashier/and eveything else ( her definition folks). Very impassioned about her work and seems to be an all around nice person.
Come visit and enjoy!!

Casual fine dining experience in Milan - Edit
We came here in august, just after the restaurant had closed for holidays. The place was packed! The restaurant is laid back but the food is anything but. We were lucky to meet the owner who explained that she usually has 12 desserts ready each evening but could only manage 8 when we were there because she’d been away. It is so good to see a thriving business run by a young woman.

Very cute restaurant - Edit
I chose the restaurant because I wanted typical Italian food but vegan and that’s exactly what you get! It’s a very nice restaurant, they have an English menu and they even make their own cheeses. I went for pizza which was good but honestly I think it’s even better tying a normal plate here. Service is very nice and helpful😄

Absolute disappointment - Edit
I had booked this restaurant looking at the amazing reviews here and I have never been that disappointed by a restaurant listed on happy cow. Almost 1 hour to get our food. Portions were tiny and the food extremely salty. The waitresses were not friendly. We payed 90euros for 3 mains and 2 glasses of wine and left on empty stomachs. The worst vegan place I have been to.

amazing vegan food in milan - Edit
Eating vegan in Milan was not always easy but this place was so good it almost made up for it. Had an amazing meal, which was also amazing to the non-vegan I was traveling with, the chef and staff were super nice, all course including the desert were fantastic. Highly recommended.

So delicious - Edit
We did wait a while to be seen (although we didn't book) . Yes it's a little bit pricey, but in our opinion worth it.
Read moreThe seitan was the best I've ever tried and trust me I've experimented so much making all different kinds!
We shared our meals, we ordered the seitan and the pizza (with zucchini and pistachio nut cream) oh lord it was honestly so good we didn't care that we waited at all!!!!
I didn't find the portions too small, although did have a pizza ! Maybe mix and match like we did. Reccomend if you can go :)
Pros: Delicious homemade food, Something a bit different , Raw options available
Cons: Wait time

Pros: Comida vegana
Cons: Pobres elaboraciones, Tiempos de espera excesivos, Precio absurdo

Small serving - Edit
I am always excited about visiting a vegan restaurant in a different country and we need to keep supporting these ventures. So it is with a heavy heart that I write this review. My husband and I came here with high expectations based on all the 5 star reviews, but sadly we were very disappointed. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, but the food we ordered was underwhelming and we found the portions very small for the price. Admittedly after we saw the size of our meal portions, we decided not to order anymore food, so skipped dessert, but we did have a starter and a main and still left feeling hungry.

Amazing vegan food - Edit
Loved the restaurant really nice vegan food with a lot of flavour. As first courses we had the "mezze maniche cacio, pepe e scali di tartufo estivo" & the "anelli alla pecorara". As main courses we had the "red & green smoked" & the "spiedino ghiotto". It is more pricey but worth it!

Wonderful, great tasting vegan dishes - Edit
A great range of delicious dishes. We tried the bruschetta which was wonderful then the baguette pizza and a pasta dish. The flavours were wonderful and my non- vegan boyfriend also really enjoyed the dishes - definitely recommend. We didn’t get to try desserts because we were so full😄
