Good vegan bakery - Edit
Vegan bakery with a huge variety. Great spot to order a deluxe birthday cake. The decor of the pastries is super elegant and flavors are amazing.

Stumbled across this place by accident on a late night stroll. The pastries caught my eye and then saw the "100% vegan" and "Happy Cow" signs in the window. Obviously, I had to check it out!
Read moreThey offer SO MANY delights! I was overwhelmed with choice and on my way to dinner, lol, so I had to be careful on what I bought. Got a tiramisu and chocolate croissant to go. While they were delicious, I've had better. However, this place gets 5 stars for the vast array of offerings and for being around for over 10 years and the owner was a nice to chat with. I just wish I had more time to have come back another day and try more.

Amazing vegan alfajores - Edit
We loved the variety of traditional Argentinian vegan pastries! First time having a vegan alfajor and it was melt-in-your-mouth! They also sell their ‘dulce sin leche’ separately, after trying it we are tempted to get it next time!

Such a pretty collection - they use lots of edible flowers. I got the lemon and mascarpone tart and they were both very good. (Also wrt to last reviewer today I had no problem paying by card and it was easy to do)

This is a takeaway only place serving a variety of vegan cakes, cookies, tarts, and more. After seeing rave reviews I had high hopes for this! Maybe I just didn’t get the best dish but the chocolate tart was alright, not amazing. It felt more like an icing sugar based thing than a ganache which is what I was expecting from its appearance, and overall was a bit dry with the large crumbly biscuit base.
Read moreHowever the staff was lovely. It would be more helpful to have labels because as each customer came in she had to go through every one again. Also currently you cannot pay via card only cash or bank transfer (not sure if this is easily accessible for foreigners).
Would maybe rate a 3.5 stars as it is a cute spot. #Veganuary

Trust me, you just went for the only dish there I dislike. My fav is the red velvet, I usually hate red velvets but there is MY OBSESSION, or, if you're really into sweets the lotus cheesecake is perfect (too much for me). But yeah, all the times i've eaten the chocolate cake it's too dry and just has flavour for the icing... I don't like it either and I think they should change the recipe since mostly all the other things are really good :D

I used to live next door to La Besnéta and it was my guilty pleasure every now and then, the staff are super friendly, they have an amazing location in the Gracia neighbourhood and most importantly everything they make tastes AMAZING!

I didn't know everything they did was vegan, and I was so pleased to see that not only they are a full vegan fancy bakery, but also they are involved in activism causes. I could sign against the bull fighting legislation right there on the counter. We had the dulce sin leche, and my non-vegan friend was mindblown (me too). They are so nice and attentive, too! Definitely check it out! Mind you, the prices are quite high.

The Croissants were filled with a delicious lemon cream and were superb. The Tiramisu was out of this world. The worst problem is choosing what to buy, everything looks so good. Really friendly professional service. We received English explanation of what the products were. This was really a bakery of the highest level.

Vam anar-hi que gairebé tancaven així que la majoria de coses ja havien volat (i mira que voldria haver tastat el pastís de llimona🥲), però el noi que ens va atendre va ser simpatiquíssim i vam sortir contentíssimes de tota manera i amb les mans plenes. Vam tastar una magdalena de suc de taronja i ens vam endur un potet de tiramisú, un altre de red velvet i un bon o bon, crec que es deia (de mantega de cacauet). Tot deliciós, encara hi penso 😋 Definitivament hi tornaré aviat, i aquest cop més d'hora!
