A great experience - Edit
Eating at Kopps is an experience for sure. We went there for a romantic birthday dinner snd had 7 courses at 135 euros per person. They also have a wine or non alcoholic drink pairing with every course but we didnt take that. It wasnt the best food of my life but every dish was surprising, well thought out and a piece of art. Staff was very polite. Definitely recommended!

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. Great atmosphere, amazing food, super professional service. It is expensive, but 100% worth it in my opinion.

Nice but not mind blowing - Edit
It’s good, the food was nice and the drinks pairings were great, but it’s not really what we expected for fine dining.
Read moreWe had 5 food courses and 3 drinks pairings. My bf had the alcoholic version and I had the non alcoholic version.
Portions are as you would expect, food was a little slow but didn’t bother us (but do plan for this - we had a table at 8.45 and didn’t leave until 12!!). I think it’s great they have a drinks pairing option for non drinkers, and they are just an inventive and taste good.
It was a nice experience but you expect a little more considering it’s expensive (for Berlin).
Wouldn’t necessarily go back but did enjoy it.
Pros: Fully vegan , Great drinks pairings -including for sober people, Lovely atmosphere
Cons: Slow , Expensive for what it is, Food isn’t as good as expected

Nice - Edit
I expected a little bit more (like different flavours) for fine dining, but the food was good and it is an all vegan restaurant, so that's a big plus.

Vegan fine-dining at its best - Edit
Fancy fine-dining restaurant in Berlin.
Read moreThe menu consist of a either 5 or 7 set course menu. The interior is cool, black and fancy with waitresses being dressed up and knowledgeable.
The food menus can either go with a set alcohol/non-alcoholic drink menu where you decide which of the courses you want to pair a drink with (minimum is 3 drinks).
I went for the 7 course menu and paired it with 4 drinks, and in my opinion it was UNBELIEVABLE tasty. All courses was well thought threw, in both taste and presentation. We even got some small in-between dishes.
Be aware though that it takes time. We were there for over 4,5 hours and we weren't slow. In my opinion it was not a problem as I believe it's meant to take your time and enjoy the food and experience.
Would recommend going to Kopps to anyone who's looking for a one's-in-a-life-time experience, definitely one of the absolute best I've ever had!

Very fancy, unique experience - Edit
We went here a while ago. Kopps was our very first fancy diner experience as a vegan and we were blown away. The drinks are awesome, the food is delicious and the ambiance is very nice.

Fancy, professional vegan dining - Edit
One of Berlin's few vegan fine-dining restaurants.
Read moreThe menu is set and you can choose between either 7 or 5 courses. The interior design is black, sleek and nicely lit with dim lights. The waiters are dressed up, knowedgeable and more professional than friendly (although ofc not unfriendly).
I've now been to Kopps, Lucky Leek and FREA. Kopps is in my opinion the most professional out of the three. At Lucky Leek and especially FREA the atmosphere is much more laid back.
I decided to go for all 7 courses and pair it with 4 alcoholic drinks. Everything tasted amazing and all the dishes (apart from the blue cheese culture, which was a bit disappointing) were gorgeously presented. My favorites were the artichoke, black champignon and carrot.
The biggest issue of the evening is how long it took. We arrived around 7:30pm and left around midnight, meaning we were there for 4,5 hours!! We did not eat slowly, the meals and drinks simply took too long to arrive. This is the only thing that makes me give this place four stars instead of five.
I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a professional, vegan, fine-dining experience. Just keep the long waiting time in mind. I'd be happy to go back here one day.

Great but there’s better vegan fine dining out there - Edit
I went to Kopps few weeks after dinner at Frea so my experience was definitely influenced by that, sorry (also: go to Frea!). Kopps has less relaxed atmosphere, it feels super fancy in a slightly stressful way. The food is really interesting and beautifully served but the portions are tiny (even for high dining standards) and the choice feels a bit limited (eg only one main course). The non-alcoholic drink pairings are nice but didn’t feel so special. The little compliments from the chef and pralines at the end were super delicious though! One thing that I found a bit disappointing is that they offer blue cheese for dessert and it’s the same Jay & Joy cheese you can get at Veganz (to be fair, it is one of the best vegan cheeses ever and it did come with a delicious beetroot sorbet but you kind of expect more from this kind of place).
Read morePros: One of a kind vegan dining experience , Interesting & beautifully served food
Cons: Expensive (unsurprisingly), Tiny portions, even for high dining standards , Atmosphere not very relaxed

Fine vegan fine dining - Edit
Really enjoyed the dishes we ordered and the overall experience, however some of them were not particularly special. Great selection of drinks and wines. Who knew that the best red wine I've ever had would have been a German one?
