Cafe-style vegan restaurant in the Chabara Complex shopping mall, underneath the train tracks, next to the UDX building, and close to Akihabara station. Est. since 2013. Offers simple shojin ryori (temple cuisine). Order from the menu (has English), or choose from a small selection of the day's dishes. Rice and miso soup re-fills come with purchase of meal. Dessert options include ice cream and shaved iced. Reservations are highly advised and must be made for more than four people. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-3:30pm, 5:00pm-7:30pm, Sat-Sun 11:00am-7:30pm. Last order for lunch 1.30pm.

I was negatively surprised with the flavour, it was very bland. At first I thought it was only me or my chosen dish, but I also asked (and tried) the company I was with their opinion, and they felt the same. Bland and a bit uninspiring.

Really enjoyed the karage, the side dishes were delicate but full of flavour. Liked the texture of the soy meat too. And they’ve got desserts too although I was too full to try. Would go again, I booked but there was no need at all (unfortunately, wish more people went!)

Calm and cozy place with lots of different dishes to eat! Sadly the food I tried were surprisingly bland, and I left feeling disappointed. Still, I feel like I might have just chosen the wrong dishes. Maybe I will give it a new try in the future.

definitely recommend, it is also in a general regional food shop which is very fun to discover

Worth a stop if in Akihabara, a wide selection of food with many options giving lots of choice and interesting flavours. Probably not the tastiest food in the world if I’m honest, but lots of good stuff here! In particular I would recommend the Karaage which was my favourite part!

Great place to enjoy Japanese traditional meal and sweets, you can make it healthier if you opt brown rice
I went to lunch which is cheaper but dinner has more selections of dishes and also dessert!
If you want to eat dessert ( I wanted to eat grilled dango which you can grill at the table ) you need to book!
