Each dish is an explosion of flavors. Everything is made with high quality ingredients, local and seasonal whenever possible. The super friendly staff will explain everything to you about each course. The owner Zizi is an awarded Michelin star.

This place was so good!! We had a group of 8 or so, so we had a private room upstairs. The wait staff gave us a Bluetooth speaker so we could play our own music. It was really fun. We got a 6 course menu and everything was delicious. It was one of those surprise menus so I honestly don't remember what we ate, specifically, but it was all worth coming back for

They offer very creative and tasty courses, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. I just couldn't give a 5 star review with their being so expensive, and I preferred the food at Dar, their other restaurant, which is a bit more affordable. I understand that "haute-cuisine" comes at a price, and if you like fine-dining you definitely shouldn't miss Kle, but otherwise I'd recommend Dar more.

We used to love it much more when there was still a menu where you could choose the dishes. With the new concept the portions got smaller and we would therefore still be hungry after a 4 course menu. But the quality of the food is still very good and tasty. The wine selection is good.

Very special haute vegan experience - Edit
I put 4 stars just cause this haute cuisine didn’t quite suit our subjective tastes due to extreme flavor changes for each serving of 4 course menu we had: from salty smoked to spicy sweet and back, was simply too much for us playing on really extremes for every serving.
Read moreI recommend to make your own opinion by giving a try to this experience, however, advise against blind going for special occasion as it can be “love or hate” story.
Just be mindful that dinner is pricy, portions are small as usually the case for haute cuisine and well ahead reservation is needed for dinner during cold time of the year.
The service and wine card are really great though, the place itself is small and can feel packed inside.

2 half carrots = 1 main course - Edit
There were six of us at Restaurant Kle for dinner and we paid around CHF 1,000 for the 3 or 4-course menu with accompanying wine. After that we left hungry. The amuse bouche consisted of half-baked rolls that were doused with oil, plus there was a mini bowl of pickled vegetables, a red tomato paste, hummus pureed beyond recognition and mayonnaise. I didn't find it very pleasant to smear mayonnaise on a warm, undercooked roll. The starter was a kind of large cracker topped with beetroot slices that actually tasted very good and was the only dish that had an appealing texture. This was followed by the main course which consisted of two small, halved carrots with an undefinable jus and a spoonful of undefinable puree. As far as I understand it, two half small carrots are not a main course, they are not even a side dish but at best a garnish. When I first saw this plate, I thought it was a joke. But no... The dessert at the end was a spoonful of chocolate mousse with a spoonful of peppermint ice cream, doused with peppermint oil. The chocolate mousse was too firm, the peppermint ice cream slightly watery. I can't say anything about the taste, as the intense peppermint oil killed any other aroma. Overall, neither the aromas nor the textures were convincing in the whole menu. The mini portions reminded me of 80's nouvelle cuisine. When it comes to nutrition, you feel like you've been transported back in time: This cuisine offers far too little protein and vitamins. There's a lack of freshness, there's no crunch, it's all too soft, too musty, too one-dimensional. The expert service and the interesting wines, which were well explained, remain positive memories. Unfortunately, the ratio of price to performance does not fit at all. Ultimately, I expect a convincing culinary experience from a restaurant of this quality and I don't want to go home hungry and have to make myself a few more sandwiches. For us it was the first and probably last visit to the Kle. Pity!

As the other reviews say: it comes for a high price but what you'll get for the money is really something. Creative, versatile, delicious plates like in a 'normal' high class restaurant but vegan. Also great wine selection. If you are looking for this kind of vegan restaurant - look no further 😁 bon appetite!

Read moreWe took the 4 course surprise menu. 2 out 4 (pasta with pesto & ice-cream dessert) were really good, the other two were ok but definitely nothing memorable. The service was friendly and efficient, and the premises looked cosy.
The main downside is that portions are not too big which is quite common among Michelin-star restaurants, and prices are relatively high.
The best part, however, is that everything is vegan which is amazing. We certainly enjoyed dining at KLE and would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food here is phenomenal! Atmosphere and service are great. It's expensive but totally worth it. One thing that bothers me: There's very little time between the courses. It's a small place and they try to serve as many guests/make as much money as possible which is fair enough, but has a negative impact on the overall experience. When I decide to splurge then I don't want to feel rushed. It's a pity because that's the only thing that's keeping this restaurant from beeing perfect. Still 5 stars because it's just so good!

Newly interpreted dishes rich in flavour. Each menu is beautifully presented on the plate. Midst of Zurichs District 3, a vibrant area in the city you‘ll find KLE. The location is very cozy but is not lacking in style. I recommend this for a special occasion or for a one time chance to visit, as it’s a bit pricey.

I’ve been to KLE for both dinner and brunch and had really lovely experiences both times. The food is really flavorful and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere homey and welcoming. Will certainly come back for more!
