Unusually great vegan options to stumble across

Absolutely loved the vegan banana milkshake!! Staff said that was their favourite too. Didn't stay for lunch. Will be back!

Very nice

Very nice owners and a beautiful garden to eat in. We rang ahead and ordered a vegan sausage roll and vegan cream tea. Both were lovely. Would visit again

A beautiful tea room in a lovely setting

The tea garden that the new owners have created is just lovely and includes a covered area for inclement weather. We had a great coffee (no extra charge for oat milk) and a tasty ‘Ramblerjack’.

They’re just in a soft launch stage at the moment, but the vegan sausage rolls are on order and other vegan options are coming. Definitely worth a visit

Pros: Great coffee, Lovely setting, Friendly staff

Beautiful location on the S.W.C.P

Beautiful thatched cottage with garden and cafe through the side gate. Found this on a walk on the coast path and then brought my mum back a day later as I knew she would love it. Not a huge choice of vegan options but the flapjack and teas were delicious. Staff could not have been friendlier. Lovely spot to relax on a walk around the beautiful area and to take away some vegan goodies for later.

Pros: Beautiful garden cafe and location., Super friendly staff., Great flapjack and teas.

Cons: Maybe a few more Vegan options please!

Surprising options!

Taking my van to north Devon, had some lunch with me on my hike as didn’t expect to find anywhere to eat

There have vegan cream teas (squirty not clotted cream)
Oat and soya for coffee & milkshakes
Vegan chocolate cake and there were vegetable pastries which possibly might have been vegan too

Fresh food and lovely garden

On the menu: vegan pasty, vegan ploughman's, various salads, 3x vegan cakes, and vegan scones

We had the pasty which came with a fresh salad and vegan mustard dressing.

Pros: A few good quality options, especially sweets
