All dishes were £8.50 and there is a lot of choice (perhaps a bit too much choice!) I had the Jerk '"Chicken" which was really tasty and a big portion. There was a solid amount of veg and fake meat; it wasn't overloaded with rice. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but our food arrived quickly.

I've visited Cook Daily in Croydon once. The first thing I'd point out is, because of the setup, it may be hard to find seats at certain times, particularly if you're with a group!
Read moreThere's plenty of choice, with different flavours, spicy or not, mock meats, veg, or tofu, etc. I didn't think the portions were massive for the price, but it was nice. There wasn't much in the way of dessert, though!
The owners seem to close this branch from time to time, and focus on their first branch, so best check before planning to go.

Cons: Can be busy, Opening times may vary, No pudd!

Whenever i'm in London I HAVE to come here ! The dishes are so filling, tasty and varied... Currently tried to taste everything on the menu. I highly recommend it because it's cheap, tasty and no hassle... Even my omni boyfriend is in love !

cookdaily is a nice veggie place in a great location. i went there during lunch hour and even though it was expectedly busy, waiting time wasn‘t too bad :)
Read moretaste was great, especially the bits of mock chicken in my dish. they have a lot of great sounding options that make it difficult to decide.
prices are a little high but that’s the east end these days, i suppose. you might find cheaper options at the markets around but i like the fact that there’s a nice communal seating area to rest your legs a little in between shopping ;)

You can't visit/live in London without eating at CookDaily. Crazy good/reasonably priced food in the coolest of settings. No wonder why the who's who of London's music scene choose to eat here. Amazing.

Everything feels so well thought out, the flavours are perfect and the atmosphere is really fun and inviting. A great range of vegan dishes and yummy spring rolls on the side. Be prepared to wait a while at busy times as it's real popular, but completely worth the wait!

If you like Thai food you should definitely try it here. Everything is cooked fresh and price is good for the quality. I had the 3S with Praun and noodles and my friend had the jerk chickn, both were so delicious. We managed to get a seat inside. They sold out about an hour after we'd eaten so go early, it's very popular.

Fun concept in a pop up mall made out of old shipping containers. Cookdaily is all vegan - predominantly Asian mains (they do have a western pie).

Large portions. Biodegradable bowls used :)
wasn't so keen on the daily banana and spinach smoothie.
