£4 for a to go box with injera with different fillings. A bit small portion but i always find ethiopian food can be pretty filling. We took it home to eat as I always find Spitalfields a bit overwhelming - it was yummy but it wasnt my favourite ethiopian store ive been to.

Merkamo is a small stall located inside the Spital Fields market. The stall is well decorated and features the food in displays. Pricing here is good with most entrees under £10. The staff where friendly.
Read moreI ordered through Too Good To Go and received the Injera wrap which was fresh and delicious. The dish was full of color and perfectly seasoned. I would come back here just for the wrap.
Merkamo is definitely worth checking out if you are visiting Spitalfields market.

If you go to the Old Spitalfields Market you'll be spoiled for choice for places to eat, but you'd do well to try this stall. It's all vegan and there are several different options to choose from. What we had was very tasty, as well as being quite filling!
