Delicious Food, Kid-Friendly, Quick Service

We dined here with 4 kids and 4 adults and it was excellent. They had high chairs, kids plates, and utensils, and all of the food came pretty quickly, which is always appreciated with young kids!

The food was excellent! Everything we tried was very flavorful but we especially loved the massaman curry! It’s a must-try! We had it at a medium spice level, which was perfect! The roti and cauliflower bombs were also amazing. Highly recommend!

Delicious Vegan Thai!

All the classic Thai dishes, all vegan! Tom kha was creamy and rich. Pad Thai had a house made tamarind sauce that was delicious. Mango sticky rice was perfect end to the meal. Gluten free items marked clearly on the menu.

Amazing Flavors

I haven't had good Pad Thai at a restaurant since I went vegan. So I was thrilled to see that it was an option and an excellent one it was!

Pros: Service was amazing., Good quality food with Seattle appropriate prices

Good, not Great

I would probably give this place 3.5 stars, but rounding up. The food was good, but nothing special. It was very expensive for what it was, and as others have complained, they charge $5 for a side of white rice, which is one of the greediest things I’ve ever seen in a restaurant.

Updated review

New review in 2026:
I'm updating my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. I'm not sure why my previous experience getting their takeout was bad; I didn't feel like I ordered anything that couldn't work as takeout. I recently decided to give Kati Vegan Thai another chance by going there in person and everything was delicious. Since then I've ordered delivery from them about 10 times and it's all been good.

{My old review from 2019:
I've had Kati Vegan Thai twice, both times via delivery. The food was not good, and tended to have that sickly sweet taste I associate with very low quality, cheap Thai places.
I'm vegan and was excited to have another place nearby, but every other vegan restaurant I've been to in Seattle was significantly better.}

Average food above average cost

Don't believe the hype. The food was a 6-7 out of 10. I was really looking forward to Kati's by the reviews on happy cow, but the food was only slightly above average. The food cost was absolutely overpriced. The sweet and sour stir fry was $20 and did NOT come with rice. Had to pay $5 extra for a bowl of white rice, which seemed like a scam. Ridiculous. Just throw in the 20 cents worth of rice. Also the entrees had little tofu as well. The server also asked if we wanted to add any extras at an additional costs. $65 for two for two entrees and pot stickers.

Pros: Slightly above average food, Service was good

Cons: Overpriced, Menu items don't come with rice

A Must-Visit in Seattle For Thai Food 🇹🇭

We always stop here whenever we’re in Seattle — it’s that good! The food is packed with incredible flavor and easily some of the best vegan Thai dishes we’ve ever had. Everything tastes fresh and authentic, and you can tell they truly care about quality. It’s always busy (for a reason!), so plan ahead if you can. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for delicious, vibrant vegan food that feels like a taste of Thailand.

Perfect

Amazing all vegan thai cuisine restaurant. The menu is extensive and the service very friendly. The location itself is beautifully styled. And then the food... I felt like I'm really in Thailand (and I've been several times so I know what I'm talking about 😉)! Great experience!

Great vegan Thai

Decent selection of menu items and all vegan. Portions are not bad sized but not family style meal size in my opinion. Very convenient location and still delicious. Have yet to be to the one in town but the location at Totem Lake is not very big.

Phenomenal Restaurant

We got the House-made pot stickers, Old-style pad thai, and Pad keemao. Everything was phenomenal, I couldn’t choose a favorite. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in Seattle again.

Yummy food and drinks

Ya’ll prolly don’t want to hear about salad - but the mango salad is phenomenal. Friendly and fast service. If subbing jackfruit for tofu in dish, advise not to get the jackfruit app as it’s the same as what you’ll get in dish. So many options here!!

Cons: None

Get there early

This place is amazing and gets packed. We got there at 11:30 for lunch on a Wed and by noon it was full plus take out orders. We had the pad Thai, angel wings, pot stickers and the Kuay Tiew Kua Gai. All were amazing especially the Kuay Tiew Kua Gai which the waitress recommended. They had high chairs and kids plants/utensils. They did not have a kids menu but did have sides which we ordered for the kids

Kati-ati-ati-ati-ati-ati-ati-ati

I recently decided to start celebrating half-birthdays bc I wanted an excuse to get “fancy” takeout, lol. I chose Kati for mine bc I’ve experienced small portions for big prices, so it’s a rare indulgence. The coastal curry with purple rice is my new fave dish + they didn’t skimp this time! The satay was weirdly wrapped in foil (for takeout) tho + my partner grumbled about the flavor.

We decided to go back for a cheaper entrée on a regular day + the kuay tiew kua gai was okaaay, but I hella regretted not adding fried jackfruit even tho that woulda bumped up the price by $5. They should just make that the norm.

Amazing!

Possibly the best vegan Thai restaurant I've eaten at. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Since most Thai places use fish sauce in their food, having an entirely vegan Thai place puts my mind at ease. I also really enjoyed that they have Thai ice tea. Definitely recommend.
