I never would have imagined this food truck/stand is almost entirely vegan. With "creamery" in the title, I figured I would be out of luck. They have lots of delicious flavors, the owner is nice and happy to give out lots of tasters, and who doesn't love eating homemade vegan ice cream at the beach?
There aren't many vegan options in Kauai. When we saw the "vegan ice cream" sign, we stopped to check it out! This was the Kapaa Creamery food truck. This was some of the best vegan ice cream I have ever had! I had the Chocolate Mac Nut and was in heaven! (The servings are a little pricey, but so is everything else in Kauai.)
My girlfriend and I found this great food truck by accident and I went up just to see if they had any vegan choices. Come to find out it was all vegan except for one item! It is was extremely delicious and we will be back again before we leave the island!
