Very good food here - Edit
This was my favorite veggie place in Popayan. You enter a beautiful colonial courtyard open to the sky. Walk to the back and ask for the Menú Kanda (as of August 2010 it's only 4.000 pesos and includes soup, the main plate with 5 items, choice of salad, drink and dessert). You pay before leaving. Take your tray to tables located either in the sunny open area, or in the area shaded with brick arches. If all that's full, there are dining rooms in the back that open to a green area. The food here was very good and wholesome. It's only a couple of blocks to the main square.
