Serves meat, vegan options available. Middle Eastern restaurant with vegetarian menu section where dishes can be modified to vegan when requested. Vegan a-la-carte and banquets available. Confirmed closed, Oct 2019.
Kamel has sharing-style plates. A tad on the expensive side, as dishes start to add up. However, food is fantastic and there are a lot of veg options. not sure about vegan modifications, as a lot of the veg options had dairy.

I love Kamel. It is one of my 'go to' suggestions when we have a mix of vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and regular diets to cater for. They have a seperate menu to chose from (as well as nut free, egg free..) It makes the meal so much more enjoyable for everyone, regardless of what they are eating, or not.
The food is amazing. So much to chose from and everything is fresh and tasty. We usually order a banquet (and there are a few to chose from). So much food! So yum! One of my favs is the grilled watermelon.
Service has always been great. The setting is nice- with options to sit upstairs or outside as well as in the main dining area. It is licensed and the location is pretty central to most people.
I'd highly recommend Kamel, especially if it is an occasion.
Kamel has some of the best food in this area! I was so happy to find they have a seperate menu for vegetarians, vegans, onion free and lots more allergys and intolerances. The food there has so much flavour and the staff were very accomodating and friendly. There is also a great atmosphere as it is cosy and warm in winter but also great on a balmy summer night. Overall amazing!!!!
