Lots of vegan options. I especially like the vegan chicken bacon ranch and vegan cheeseburger pizzas. I have yet to try their veggie sushi, but it’s hard when their pizza is so good.
Read moreJust a heads up, last time I was there I was informed that the pasta is homemade and contains eggs.
The vegan buffalo chicken is my new favorite pizza from there. HIGHLY recommend.

If you’re craving a good vegan pizza in the area, they have some decent options for toppings using Beyond Meat etc. They also have some vegan sushi that’s ok. I’m glad they exist in the area because Millbrook is hugely lacking in vegan food options, but the food is underwhelming.

Julien’s was such a find for my partner and me: she’s always in the mood for pizza, and I’m always in the mood for sushi. We got a chicken bbq pizza, and it was HUGE and reasonably priced. Well seasoned, amply cheesed, and with a phenomenal chewy crust.
Read moreThe veggie sushi rolls I ordered were alright. The ones I ordered came with a drizzle of a teriyaki-like sauce and a generous sprinkle of brown sugar, which I wasn’t a fan of—too sweet for me. Otherwise, they were fantastic, and I’d definitely go back to try other rolls.
Word of mouth and this listing indicate that sushi is only available on Mondays, but their website didn’t say anything like that, and we ordered on Saturday.

Hello - the owner here! I can verify that we do not put sugar on our sushi rolls. The teriyaki sauce is sweet, but the brown-sugar-like crunch on the roll is just tempura crunch. We just opened a bar and dining room around the corner! Sushi & Pizza available, every day we are open.

There are many vegan options at this spot. The gluten friendly crust is also vegan. The vegan chik’n is also gluten-free and very good on the vegan chik’n ranch.

NYC quality vegan food in a small town - Edit
I found out at Julien’s from this app when visiting my friend that lives in Amenia. The first time I saw this place was last year, so I’ve been wanting to go for almost a year now and I’m so happy I finally stopped by! I got a few of the options to get a round of what they offer and OMG…it felt like I was in NYC getting this. And this place isn’t even all-vegan, it’s almost like they are with how fresh everything is from all the rolls to the pizza and the bubble tea is great for what it is. Highly recommend this spot for the locals and as a bucket list place for NY vegans! 10/10 all around

Best vegan food within 50 miles of Poughkeepsie. - Edit
We moved to the area recently from Los Angeles where we ate an insane amount of delicious vegan food. The options near our new home are extremely underwhelming and we have tried a lot of places. Julien’s is hands down the best vegan food we have had and they are expanding the vegan options every week. Vegan kale Caesar, bacon cheeseburger pizza, tomato spicy “tuna rolls”, vegan chopped cheese sandwich, vegan tuna salad to name a few. They will also make pretty much anything vegan if they can. They make vegan ranch, spicy Mayo for the sushi, and have vegan chicken, beef, chorizo and bacon. On par with LA food. Definitely check them out if you are vegan. Extremely grateful they are here!

We got the vegan cheeseburger special and a plain vegan pie. The service was great and pizza is good! It’s the only vegan pizza option in this area. We loved the flavors of the cheeseburger pie but the crust was a bit thin for all of the toppings. Definitely worth a try though!

Super friendly and delicious too! - Edit
Although the hours were different from what I saw on line, this super friendly couple opened two hours early, cleared a table for my husband and I and set to serve us a wonderful meal. I had the mushroom pizza with daiya cheese. Full cloves of roasted garlic, tons of caramelized onion and a delicious crispy crust made this one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. I highly recommend this charming place that even grows their own tomatoes in the summer for the pizza! Can't get fresher than that.
