Healthy yummy vegan food - Edit
So grateful this store is in town. I was able to get vegan graham crackers and marshmallows for s’mores. They had a designated vegan fridge and lots of other vegan friendly products throughout

Ethical products and organic bulk foods – most at reasonable prices (5/5 Green Stars) - Edit
I arrived in Joshua Tree without sun block (D’oh!) so I took a trip to Joshua Tree Health Foods the day before visiting the park. Glad I did – the sun is strong even in December! Staff members were friendly and helpful – one person directed me to the sun block. I bought a tube from the Seaweed Bath Co., thinking that it seemed a bit pricey at around $20 but then checked online and saw that it’s $19 direct from the manufacturer. I looked around the store and saw some interesting products that I’d never seen before, like mycelium-based bacon (MyBacon). Some items seem overpriced (olive oil) but others (Sappo Hill or Dr. Bronner’s soap) are very reasonable.

• Large selection of bulk ingredients, from nuts and flour to herbs and spices.
• Almost all of the items stocked in bulk were organic.
• When I looked at specific products, like bar soap, the brands in stock were among the most ethical.
• A large amount of vegan items on sale such as Nuts for Cheese and Violife dairy.
• Inclusive business where all are welcome.

Every time I am in JT I come here. Delicious organic produce and wonderful selection of bulk items. My favs: carob energy nuggets, vegan raw cheesecake, Ceremonial Seeds(made by a local gal) and they have a guy on Saturday that gives Vitamin Shots.

Vegan groceries in the middle of Joshua Tree! - Edit
Stopped by here for a quick purchase of crackers to go with some things we bought at the farmers market going on right outside. They were a little pricey but it is still super cool to see a place carry so many vegan groceries in a small town like this!

Read moreOn two previous family trips to Joshua Tree, we stopped in to buy some snacks. The store is next door to the all veg Natural Sisters Cafe.
Inside is quaint and well lit. There is a refrigerated case, a small fresh produce area, a range of packaged vegetarian snack and foods, some herbs and supplements, and other things. The owner can help with natural herb recommendation.

Tiny veg oasis - Edit
Small but fully stocked for the needs of a fully vegetarian family. Found many different protein sources, Veganaise, snacks, spices and supplements. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful!
