Started off as a sourdough specialist which expanded and opened a cafe in the Pulau Tikus area. Menu is sourdough-centric with various add-ons to the bread with additional offerings including a small variety of pasta dishes, pizza and salad, some of which are vegan and others that could possibly be made vegan upon request. Does not use sugar and artificial flavoring for their artisan bread. Modern-chic and comfortable atmosphere. Menu includes breakfast and light meals (serving portion may be too small for full meals). Open Mon-Tue 9:00am-6:00pm, Fri-Sun 9:00am-6:00pm. Closed Wed-Thur. Kitchen closes at 2:30 pm.

So much potential

Great sourdough and so much potential with this cafe located in a great area - but they’re obviously been having a few staff shortages / kitchen issues for many months now! Also, strange they can’t do coffee with soya milk, even though they have Soya milk!

Pros: Mushroom black pepper , Mushroom burger , Staff also laugh at how bad things are atm 😂

Cons: Coffee machine not always working , Kitchen closes intermittently , Sells out of items quickly

Cautious, not vegan

Stated vegan pasta but delivered with cheese. Like the previous review, they don't know what plant based or vegan means. Be extra cautious

Not so vegan-friendly

I went here because they advertised themselves in the Penang vegan Facebook group. Unfortunately I think it’s only the bread and juices that are vegan, and the only vegan bread toppings I saw were peanut butter banana. Even though they have soy milk and oat milk on the menu, I was told they cannot make any coffees without dairy milk because their machine automatically adds it in (but why not just pull an espresso then and pour it over soy milk? I guess they didn’t think of that. They have tofu cheesecake, but it has milk in it. I walked 45 minutes to come here so it was a bit of a disappointment, walked out without ordering anything. I asked them why they posted in the vegan Facebook group and they told me they are plant-based. I think they don’t know what plant-based means.
