Jajaja Mexicana is a great place for anyone who loves creative plant-based food. The atmosphere is welcoming, the dishes are flavorful, and the menu offers unique vegan versions of Mexican classics. Good takeout - Edit
This place is takeout only, which was ok as we were just driving through. There's not much street parking, but we were able to double park while waiting and the food was ready fairly quickly. We got the Tres Amigas app, and birria tacos, beet and pumpkin empanadas and loaded nachos. Everything was really good and unique.

I had heard great things about their NY locations, and was excited to see they opened one up in NJ. As a heads up, this location is takeout only.
Read moreI had high expectations for the food but was disappointed as the quality didn't match the price. Flavors were severely lacking and everything needed more seasoning. Might have just been an off day.
The beet and pumpkin empanadas were my favorite, they were perfectly crispy and the filling was moist.
