Not amazing - Edit
If there were better options around, I’d recommend them. They obviously don’t know how to run a restaurant. Could look so much better... and taste better.
Read moreFried chicken or karage was good. Dumplings were unworldly not good. Much better options in Tokyo. If looking for dumplings, don’t go here.
Price is fair, but I don’t know how they’re going to last very long with the price, taste, and atmosphere. Get it while you can...
Pros: Price, Location
Cons: Atmosphere inside the restaurant , Taste

Good value Izakaya but weird vibes - Edit
The food is cheap and good portions, maybe a bit too salty. We were happy with what we got, but the vibe of the restaurant is a bit weird, there was no music, which is very different from the other Izakaya's nearby.

Fantastic vegan karaage - Edit
I had a very good vegan karaage (with yuzu pepper mayonnaise) here along with great vegetable gyozas. I liked that they had a clear picture menu on the wall in both English and Japanese, making it super easy to order. It was quite hard for me to find among the maze of restaurants inside the mall, but I located it eventually. It's a small space, so I can imagine it getting busy during peak times. I recommend trying this place out if you are in the area.

I have been here a couple times. Tiny place so might need to wait. Food is really good and comes at a good price.

Deceptive - Edit
I really enjoyed their food in their Kyoto venue, but unfortunately this was not the case of the Tokyo one. Contrary to the Kyoto nice restaurant, this is a dark bar located in a noisy area, with no service and with doubtful cleaning. Both the table and the karaage food was greasy, I would only recommend trying maitake mushrooms, but when back in the area, I certainly I would rather search for other restaurants with vegan options. As a plus, this is probably one of the few places to try vegan karaage.

Small and popular - Edit
This place is small and very popular. There may be a wait. Food and service were very good. The menu offerings were more like dim sum. As is now typical in many restaurants, ordering is by an app. A nice place for a quick dinner. The restaurant may also be referred to as Vegan Izakaya Masaka.

Tutto molto buono - Edit
Servizio veloce, ambiente davvero piccolo, la prima volta siamo andati verso le 17/18 ed era sold out quindi ci siamo tornati verso le 16:45 per essere sicuri di riuscire a mangiarci

Good if in shibya parco - Edit
Pretty good especially the gyoza but we barely got in as it was super packed and we were just lucky to get in last before close. Atmosphere is nothing special and pretty crammed. If you’re already at shibuya parco like we were, might be worth checking out if you can get in but wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Overrated - Edit
I’ve eaten here in 2019 right after they opened. while their karaage isn’t bad I find the menu quite boring. Almost everything is fried. No veggies. Also, since it’s very small, it’s always full.

Good luck - Edit
The food here used to be great, but now I’ve been here several times in the early evening on a weekday and they had a sign out that they’re closed for the day due to being at capacity.
Read moreWould have easily rated this place 4-5 stars before, but there’s no point in having it highly rated if the chance to actually get anything is so low.

Show up early and bring friends - Edit
I was turned away at 8PM on a Monday because the waitlist was already too long. When I returned on Thursday at 6PM, I had a 30 minute wait (one person). By 7:20 PM, they had put out the sign saying they weren't accepting new customers that night. So get here early!
Read moreI ordered the mizuna green salad (crunchy but oily), the gyoza, the karaage with yuzu pepper mayonnaise and the mapo tofu. The karaage is a standout. The mapo tofu was good, but I ordered it without rice so I would have room for other dishes, and I think it would have been better with rice to balance out the concentrated flavor.
This restaurant is best visited with friends so everyone can try a little of everything. As one person, I was disappointed I could only order 4-5 dishes before filling up.

You can't beat the karaage - Edit
You will find this small restaurant on the B1 level of the Parco building, in the "Chaos Kitchen" food court. Use the outside elevator to the right of the mall doors. Unless you get there when they open, expect to put your name on the list to wait for a table. Sit on low stools at small tables and order using a QR code. You will be brought freshly cooked, hot, crispy vegan karaage with a choice of 4 different toppings (the tartar sauce was out when we visited and we had the teriyaki mayonnaise; yuzu and lemon are other options). We also ordered fried maitake (hen of the woods) mushrooms, which were well seasoned but paled in comparison to the karaage, and ma po tofu with rice, which was served on a sizzling platter so the rice absorbed the sauce and became crispy on the bottom. It needed some extra soy sauce but had a good flavor. I usually don't eat fried food and am not a fan of fake meat, but I will definitely go back and eat more karaage when next in Tokyo.

I didn't really like the karaage from here, the flavours were nice but I didn't like the texture. It was a long wait to get seated (40 mins) so was a bit disappointed

Good - Edit
We ordered a bunch of things from the menu:
Read moreMapo tofu- okay, ended up using it as a dipping sauce for the mushrooms
Spicy kaarage- fantastic
Yuzu kaarage- kind of mushy
Fried maitaki mushrooms - fantastic
Cucumber with ginger and garlic - okay
Vegetable tempura: all were undercooked
The highlights were definitely the fried maitaki mushrooms and the spicy kaarage.
Service was good and quick. I think some of the cooking wasn’t timed well and some of the items would have been better with more or less cook time.
Overall though definitely recommend as one of the rare all vegan spots.

Very yummy karaage! - Edit
Absolutely delicious! Everything was really, very flavorful and the karaage was super crispy and good. The tofu dish I got was really rich and strong so I would almost recommend getting a side of rice to go with it as it was a little bit intense on its own but overall excellent food! Would for sure go back. 10 out of 10!

The karaage and the deep fried mushroom are super delicious. Must try. We went for an early lunch and did not have to line up. But if you do, totally worth it! Mapo tofu also lovely!

Delicious karaage - Edit
Great food, lots of tourists (including us) like in a lot of other vegan spots. The cucumbers were delicious and there were lots of different karaage options. We especially loved the spring onion and lemon karaage.

GO HERE IMMEDIATELY - Edit
We’ve been here a few times and worked through most of the menu. Everything is fantastic but special mention to the karaage, fried mushroom and gyoza. Lovely servers and quick service. Last time we visited it was about a 30min wait but so worth it. They start to sell out of stuff in the evening.

Nice small plates - Edit
The food was really nice and the place itself was pretty authentic. We did have to wait about an hour to get in so would recommend visiting a little bit earlier to avoid a long wait (think we got in around 7pm). They bring your food as its ready so there may be a little bit of a wait between dishes.

Fun & Fast Izakaya - Edit
It’s a busy place with a bit of a line, but it moves fast. You order via QR code and dishes come out as they’re ready and piping hot. Favourites were the lemon karaage and the Mapo tofu, and the pickles in chili oil. Enjoy!
