Great service and great food - Edit
I don't think I'll say much that hasn't been said already, but I'll say it anyway: the food is amazing, the juice is fresh, the service is quick and friendly. I can't wait to try everything on the menu (the "Breakfast with my Wife" is a big power move since you get to try a bunch of different items).

I was here because of reviews - Edit
I went here because I heard this was the best in town. And although very good and a rest friendly staff. I have had better purely vegan food in Jerusalem.

I'm Here Because Of My Wife - Edit
How happy we were to find a completely vegan restaurant in Jerusalem and with so much choice.
Read moreWe ordered a Buddha bowl with pea and quinoa stew which was excellent. A huge selection of vegetables and everything felt so delicious and nutritious. In addition we took the business with a lentil stew in bolognese, soup, a slice of bread and carrot juice. Also a very satisfying meal but if you come and have to choose do not miss the amazing Buddha bowl. In addition, you can buy a selection of cakes, cookies and other vegan items.

Delicious; the only 100% vegan place in JLM - Edit
Very tasty, a lot of options.
Read moreA huge minus and a reason not to come back from me - a hugeee amount of plastic they use. Cups for soups, spoons, juice glasses, straws, little plates to taste soups, damn huge plastic bags for every tiny cookie... even if you take your order to eat inside it you’ll get your soup in disposable plastic cup that can’t be even recycle.
Tried once and I loved the taste but this amount of plastic is crazy. Hope they will change their policy.
Editing 2 years after the first visit: for now in 2020 it’s the only all vegan place left in Jerusalem apart of casual hummus/falafel. I raise my rating from 4 to 5 stars cause all in all the food is really good and the service is nice. Also they did switch to more eco cutlery but now because of pandemic there’s lots of plastic again but it’s mandatory to use disposable package 😔
Please if you’re in Jerusalem visit and support this 100% vegan place 🙏🏽
Pros: 100% vegan, Very tasty , Reasonable prices, Nice service, Central location

Completely agree with you!!!! The food is delicious but please reduce the plastic...! :(

No plastic at all now! Wooden bowl for stew and paper wrapped around sandwich. Metal cutlery. Post pandemic is eco friendly

Awsome😍😍 - Edit
There were sooo many options, we were so confused, but the woman who worked there was really nice and patiant. she let us taste everything and chose for me in the end because I just could'nt decide. They have soups, and all these wholsome bean based stews, and smoothies, really good prices, and it's so nice to sit there. You have to check this place out

One of those places where everything on the menu sounds good - Edit
There are few restaurants in which I review the menu and want to order almost every dish - mitz marak is one of them. They have a menu full of delicious sounding and healthy dishes, from breakfast (shakshuka, tofu scramble 'omlete'), salads, stews, soups, and sandwiches. I had the buddah bowl with a delicious lentil, mangold, and sweet potato stew, served over a whole rice and together with a small salad and one of their signature quinoa based patties. The meal was genuinely delicious and left me wanting more. I will definitely be returning to mitz marak to try other things on the menu. Note that they have two additional locations, one in tel Aviv and one in givatayim. Tip - you can ask to taste a stew or soup before ordering it.

Conjunction - Edit
Recommendation: paying and getting the food from the bar creates conjunction, and israeli clients do not step a side.. i recommend serving all to the table in order to make the process more efficient and to relieve stress. Great food!!!
