Amazing rendang - Edit
We arrived in Gent late in the evening and almost every restaurant and takeaway was closed. Luckily for us, Ichi Bites was still open. We ordered vegan rendang and took it to our BnB. As soon as we dug in, we regretted not ordering more. This rendang was really delicious! Would 100% get it again if we are in the neighborhood.

Delicious! Great place, the food was delicious and was served very fast.
Read moreWe enjoyed some bao buns and Noodle dishes. the portions were a bit small we shared the 2 vegan Bao buns and 3 Noodle dishes. But maybe we were just very hungry (for more deliciousness). All dishes were very tasty!
The place was pretty cosy, especially for the student area around overpoort.
Might be a good tip for take away, as the delivery bikers were running in all the time :)

I noticed they had veggie and vegan options for many of their meals, and saw that the pulled pork bun did not have one yet. I told them a good alternative could be jackfruit and now they have a vegan pulled jackfruit burger! Also: it's delicious. If you're very hungry, be sure to order the double burger menu.

Vegan friendly Asian fusion - Edit
If you love noodles, burgers, sweet potato fries and fresh herbs: this is the place to be. The food is yum, there's a nice atmosphere and the owner is very friendly and open to vegan suggestions. Used to go there when they only had a couple of vegan options and when the burgers buns weren't vegan yet, but since the renovation there seem to be more vegan dishes including fully vegan burgers with pulled jackfruit and veganaise! My go to favorite used to be the Kung Fu noodle salad with coleslaw, cilantro, parsley and soy sauce, but I definitely have to try their vegan burgers soon!
