Lovely Asian restaurant with tasty food.

Pros: Food variety, Tasty, Value for money

Cons: Quantity is too much for a single diner

First stop in Taipei, nice family restaurant, not fancy but very welcoming. Have an English menu and one young staff member who speaks English. All very tasty food. Place filled up rapidly at lunch time.

Shabby but friendly - Edit

This restaurant is very shabby, with well-worn furnishings. The family that run it are very hospitable and the service is quick, although no English is spoken. I ordered a 'fish' dish (made from tofu and nori), it was nice, although quite oily. It's a bit hard to find this place, there is no signage outside. Go around the corner and find a green doorway. Look for the red sign with the name written right to left, walk up the stairs to get there.

Pros: Cheap, friendly staff, fast service

Cons: hard to find, no English, drab interior

The food is great. There is an english menu but it’s not very helpful haha the staff is nice too but don’t speak much english. The place was full for Sunday lunch
