A real treat! Great to find a 100% vegan restaurant. Staff were really lovely and happy to explain the menu. All of the food was well presented and bursting with flavour. Obviously fresh, quality ingredients. Quite pricey, but it is central London so not a surprise!

SImply superb (and, by London standards, worth every penny) - Edit
The first time I've been here and I was hugely impressed. Every dish had imaginative flavour combinations and the presentation was just beautiful. I was so busy enjoying the food that I only paused to take one photograph, which doesn't do this fig delight justice at all. As for the matcha tiramisu - utterly delicious (and I don't normally have a pudding...) Just for the record, my companion is not a vegan and he enjoyed it as much, if not more, than I did - to the extent he wants 'the cookbook'...

The new venue and new recipie is much better. - Edit
I visited this place at its old venue, the current place is much better. It’s better value for money. The service is good. The interior is lovely. Original and interesting dishes. My only slight disappointment was that the dishes seemed low in protein (at least on the lunch menu).

As a huge holy carrot fan from their last location, I must say I found this did not meet the mark, food or service wise.
Read moreThe staff looked quite clueless, we were told they were fully booked and we must sit at the bar, which wasn’t a problem, but we stayed over an hour and the restaurant pretty much empty still.
the food was not quite as good though I appreciate the efforts. I will go back in hopes that it gets better, and I’ll change my review of it does!

This was a true culinary experience. We visited Holy Carrot a couple of years ago at their previous location, and we loved their menu at the time. So, when we found out they were reopening at a new location with a new concept, we couldn't miss it.
Read moreThe new place in Notting Hill is amazing. I may not be a big fan of the raw, minimalist interior, but their food is absolutely delicious. We loved every dish we tried, all were fabulous - coal roasted leeks, smoked beetroot, grilled harrisa carrots. Amazing, vegetable-focused menu with seasonal ingredients.

I know, it’s London, but this is not normal. Small portions ( one tomato with a bit cream cheese for 13£). There are so many great places in London they do really great vegan dishes for fair prices. Ridiculous. And definitely not worth the money. I was in the old place and I loved it. But this is my end with the holy carrot. 🥕
