Friendly owners keen to expand their vegan appeal

The owners are working hard to improve their vegan selection and are eager for feedback. The current selection is totally acceptable if not yet inspiring. Great choice for a snack on the go.

4/5

The empanada was really tasty. They have 4 vegan options. The thing I liked the most was that the empanada was baked and not deep fried so it wasn’t oily. The girl who served us was super sweet and friendly:)

Lecker

Ein kleiner, wenn auch teurer snack mit einem intensiven Geschmackserlebnis. Das war das erste Mal, dass ich Empanadas probiere, ich habe aber definitiv nichts daran auszusetzen

Cons: Teuer

4 different vegan empanadas

They offer 4 different vegan empanadas and 5 veggie ones. The vegan ones are orange coloured and the veggie ones green, so easy to recognise. Doughs are all vegan. Good price/quality. Offer the possibility to reuse the box.

Pros: 4 vegan options, Different tastes , Sustainable packaging

Great new addition

It was already one of my favourite lunch places, but recently they added another vegan flavour to the menu. I was really surprised about this delicious curry-like flavour. Im super happy with this new addition. The empanadas also seemed to have gotten bigger since the last time I went. Before I needed 3 or 4 for lunch, now just 2 to 3.

Pros: Nice dough taste, Good portions for the price

Cons: Hope you will keep expending the vegan flavours

Delicious

Tried the mushroom empanada and was really impressed. It tasted super freshly made and the filling was delicious. Would really recommend people to pop in and try for themselves.

A few vegan empanadas

Small empanadas store. I tried the mango empanada, which was nice. They have 3 vegan empanadas in total. Ok if you're looking for a snack, lunch or just like empanadas.

Cute place, mwah empanadas

I feel like Hola Empanadas target audience are people who never had a “real” empanada. The place is cute, service good, but the empanadas… I don’t know. The dough was delicious but the filling… not to my liking. I had the Maïstro, and would not recommend buying that one. The outside of de empanada looks amazing, though. I might try another one, because maybe I just chose the wrong one for me.

Pros: Delicious dough, Cute place

Cons: Expensive, Interesting filling

Did not like the vegan fillings

Delicious dough, but the fillings leave something to be desired. It's a pity, I really liked the dough, but couldn't finish the meal.

Taste like frozen food bought at the store.

These were a big disappointment for the price. I recommend trying just one first before deciding if you want to buy more. That would mean going to the actual restaurant but worth it. They tasted like they were bought frozen and then baked. Either too salty or flavorless.

Cons: Price, No flavor, Too Salty

As far as I know they prepare them once a week, freeze them and then reheat them daily
