Amazing chikin burger and loaded fries - Edit
We really enjoyed our meal here: the chiken burger was stuffed with fat KFC-style coated chikin pieces and the seitan steak slices on the loaded fries were some of the best I've had. They use cashew cheese sauce rather than store bought vegan cheese which made it feel a smidge healthier! You order and pay through the QR code which is a good idea given there was only one guy in the kitchen, but we didn't wait long at all and a nice lady brought the food out.

I ordered the fries with cheese sauce and it was so flavourful. The burger was also the best I’ve had in the last 6 years (no exaggeration) the sauces are homemade and amazing!

Herbivorous is located in a container park with lots of outdoor seating. They also have a limited indoor seating area. We ordered our meal using the QR code on our table. The menu on the QR was more limited than we expected based on their printed menu but it still had a great selection.
Read moreWe went for a Fried ‘Chicken’ Burger, Mushroom Philly Cheesesteak Fries, Bacon Mac & Cheese and a pot of Garlic & Herb Mayo. It was all very tasty! The Bacon Mac & Cheese had a lovely rich, creamy sauce and was really delicious. It was also smoky and had a tiny bit of spice, which I enjoyed and found unusual for a mac & cheese. The Mushroom Philly Cheesesteak Fries also had the creamy sauce and also had a delicious smoky flavour. I found it different to the usual loaded fries and I really enjoyed it! The ‘Chicken’ in the Fried ‘Chicken’ Burger had a nice crispy texture and tasty flavour although unfortunately I found the burger a bit dry overall. Luckily we'd ordered the extra pot of mayo though so I added that into the burger and it was great after that!

I definitely ordered too much for one person haha! LOVE the buffalo wings. The mac and cheese wasn't quite to my taste but I'm difficult to please on that front. The paprika fries were delicious. I loved the local vegan craft beer too! Will definitely visit again and try some different options

The food here never disappoints. I’ve eaten here so many times and I usually go for their Fried Chickn Burger and fries. Their spicy loaded fries are also great if you’re not after a full meal. Can’t rate this place highly enough for great vegan Street food.

Had the Philly cheese steak here and loved it. The burgers here are awesome too. However I went back and got the buffalo wings and didn't really like the texture or the taste but other people seem to like them so could just be personal preference!

Best vegan burger (personally prefer the no "beef" over the chick'n) and chips in manchester with lots of sides. the standard "beef" burger is one of (if not the) best vegan burgers ive ever had, and the cheese chips loaded with cashew sauce is fantastic. i believe these are all made in house so they both have very unique flavour profiles.
Read moredefinitely worth trying but wish either the prices were a bit lower or the portion sizes were bigger and can vary quite a bit depending on when you order. there are deals, but assume you want two different loaded chips and both can agree on the same burger.
is also part of hatch so can get drinks from some of the other places in there and sit outside, but ive always ordered or taken away. the staff are always lovely.
Pros: Vegan burgers are great, cheesy chips are RIDICULOUS, soy "wings" are gorgeous

Located in a cool cluster of bars, food kiosks and other businesses, theres a great vibe here, with shared outdoor seating (heatlamps and blankets provided) under a bridge so rain shouldn’t put you off. Very tasty food, order via the QR code and your food is delivered to your table.

Vegan comfort food. Fairly basic facilities in the Hatch (which has shared seating in a courtyard with a number of food/drink places around it). Service was friendly and prompt. I liked the cheesy fries in particular.

Only had a bacon mac'n'cheese as I wanted a snack rather than a full meal, loved it. It's great being in Hatch, where you can have little snacks and drinks from different places. Definitely a place to go.
