Delicious vegan, gluten free breakfast sandwich. Nice staff

If you are gluten free and vegan, you’ll be delighted with their menu because gluten free can be hard to find. If you are vegan only, you’ll like the menu and the food is good but the menu’s listed items have eggs (perhaps meat) but you can swap for avocado etc.

Meh

The food was okay and very expensive.

Chef was lovely, friendly and cheerful. Checked in with everyone and their dishes personally.

Pros: Friendly owners

Cons: Expensive, little to no vegan items, food was sub-par

Can’t say I liked it

I read that Heirs Pears carries Gluten-free Epicurean Bakery items and wanted to give it a try. If you’re Ⓥ, no need! First of all, the menu isn’t labeled. Some items say they have Ⓥ mayo in it, but the cow milk cheese. Why? When I asked for clarification from the server, she seriously had no clue and didn’t care. We persisted to discover if one menu item was really Ⓥ or not and she reluctantly asked another employee who also wasn’t hip on the lifestyle either. So I was suspicious of everything I ordered which was the GFE donut and the Breakfast Sandwich, which she said three times used Ⓥ cheese and Ⓥ mayo. Well I got my sandwich and I do believe it was Ⓥ because the kitchen just omitted all cheese and mayo. This sandwich was the driest most flavorless thing I’ve ever paid for. And it doesn’t stop. My husband who is also vegan ordered the kale quinoa salad. It was indeed vegan but the kale was literally yellow. There was a sorry slice of tomato on my sandwich and it was white/pink. Clearly they don’t have fresh or good produce in the kitchen either. Highly recommend you avoid Heirs Pears if you like fresh, tasty food that you know is vegan. 😒

It is ok

Went for breakfast but there is no vegan option on the menue but they said that they could make things vegan. When the food arrived it didn't look vegan so i asked and there was bacon on it. They made it new for me and gave me a free vegan cake on top. It finally was good but small.

Pros: friendly stuff

Cons: not many vegan options on the menue, you have to check the food before you eat, musik is too loud and stressy
