I'm so glad that the space Portobello was occupying went to another vegan restaurant. Very friendly staff, and great food and cocktails. Try the Heart burger! Would definitely recommend. We went around 7pm on a Friday night, and the restaurant was at maybe 80% capacity the whole hour and a half we were there for.

I'm not a "bar" person, but the burger and cake were great! - Edit
A friend and I had dinner here on Saturday evening around 5:30 PM. We enjoy having quiet conversation while dining, and it started to get busier, thus, noisier, shortly after we ordered at the bar and were seated at our table. It wasn't too loud, and we'll definitely plan to dine here on the "early" side in the future, in the hopes of a quiet dining experience.
Read moreNeither of us drink, so I can't comment on that side of the operation. I really enjoyed the flavorful and filling BBQ burger served on a yummy roll. We both loved the deliciously moist, just the right amount of sweet, beet cake.
Even if you're not a bar person, Heart Bar is a nice place, with offerings that are far better than most "bar food!"
Pros: Heart Burger, Beet Cake, Table configuration is not too crowded
Cons: No gluten free burger or roll, It's a bar, so it's gonna get noisy at times!
