Good açaí bowls and coffee

Located inside the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, offering indoor and outdoor seating by the pool. Multiple topping options for açaí bowls (ask for no honey or bee pollen) and several non-dairy milks for coffee available. Quick, friendly service and a tasty way to begin your day.

Açaí is good

The açaí bowls are delicious, and are also the only gluten free-adjustable item on the menu. Can be made vegan (honey and bed pollen are optional, luckily). Fruit on top is very fresh. Original is best, tropical is also nice.

Good coffee, good almond milk lattes; oat and soy milk are also available.

The rest of the menu is non-vegan and gluten based, so only come for coffee or açaí.

My first açaí bowl ever!

I had my first açaí bowl here, and it was amazing! They happily made it vegan for me, and I have been dreaming about it since I left Hawaii!

Pros: Nice environment

Alt milk options for your coffee

Hawaiian Aroma Cafe is the Ilikai Hotel's only to-go coffee option besides a convenience store in the lobby, so expect a line. Friendly staff and lots of smiles help make up for the meh coffee. Their "filtro" (plain black coffee) tasted like an acidic dark roast, and I suspect they put just one shot of espresso in their mild-tasting lattes. To be fair this is just my own sense of taste; other folks may love this. Hawaiian Aroma Cafe is a great spot for folks looking for nothing more than a quick caffeine fix. Others like me who enjoy exploring coffeeshops with a range of high quality beans should feel safe leaving this spot off your list.

Very limited options.

Nothing is labelled so you need to ask to be sure. What there is left is very basic and overpriced. Green smoothie was like drinking sugar. Avoid.

It’s an açaí bowl

It’s good but it’s an açaí bowl, just like all the rest, nothing really special to say about it.

Cons: Bee pollen use, Expensive

Good acai bowls

The acai bowls are delicious and fully customizable. You will need to take honey or bee pollen off all of them to make vegan.

Pros: Many things can be made vegan, Good vibes
