Yummy snack

Cute little place that sells steamed buns with fillings. Two are vegan. I recommend the one made from local apples. Great snack for on the go and will keep you fingers warm!

Pros: Tasty, Size, Authentic

Delicious steamed buns!

The vegan options of the steamed buns here were delicious and a perfect treat after a day on the slopes. The red bean (adzuki) bun was very filling and hearty, and the apple one tasted just like apple pie. Good price too.

Heart warming apple bun

Outside the shop there’s a stand offering various flavors of bun, including veg option: apple(Ringo), Azuki(redbean).
It is life saving to have such a bite of sweet during the late night on street.
We love the cinnamon flavor mix within it and we had four apple buns in two days.

Oyaki savoureux

#Veganuary

Cons: Pas d'oyaki salé vegan, Seulement deux choix vegan

Apple Bun was excellent!

Two Buns are marked vegan. The attendant spoke great English and confirmed bun was vegan.

Cons: Few options

Cute cafe

I came here and ordered an oat latte (they use minor figures). Oat latte was ¥550 and really good.
I also ordered the red bean bun (Oyaki) for ¥250. It was super yum and was a good breakfast option. I’m sure I’ll be back here

Delicious Hot Oyaki

We had so much fun walking the cute touristy streets of Nozawaonsen and were really happy to stumble upon a big sign showing three vegan oyaki flavors out of the six that they had. They were very clearly marked as vegan and had English descriptions as well. The vegan oyaki are Ringo (apple), Kabocha (pumpkin) and Azuki (sweet red bean paste). We got the somewhat unusual for Japan apple cinnamon oyaki, and it was truly delicious! Hot and steamy and so so good!
