Organic restaurant and small grocery store in the Harbor of El Cotillo since 2017 (previously on Calle Mallorquin). Menu changes daily and offers Italian inspired dishes, baked treats and desserts, beer, and tea. Example choices include vegan muffins, salad of the day, gluten-free pasta in marinara, tofu burger, croquetta, carrot cake, and raspberry pie. Open Tue-Sat 12:00-18:00.

Popped in for lunch. There were four Happy Meals to choose from plus 3-4 starters, and about four dessert options, also a couple of Specials. The drinks menu we were interested in was for juices, I had the beetroot, apple and orange while B had the grapefruit, orange and ginger. We went straight for the mains and ordered Happy Meal 2 which was a salad bowl, and Happy Meal 4 the seitan in red wine sauce with turmeric cauliflower and polenta. Huge portions and oh so delicious. I had to take some of my seitan meal for take out.

Wir waren als Familie im Happy Cactus essen. Wir haben uns verschiedene Sachen bestellt und einfach alles geteilt. Es war perfekt, super lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Portionen sind sehr gross. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder.

Such a cute and happy place and very friendly and welcoming staff. Yummy vegan food, they mainly serve whole food (in combination with non-whole food). Very tasty salads with the most delicious avocados I’ve ever eaten.

My partner and I ordered the vegan seitan tacos today and shared between us. The portion was huge! (And I’m a big eater). Glad we only ordered the one dish. Very tasty and fresh. I highly recommend checking it out.

Lovely little cafe/restaurant, with friendly staff. 4 main options for lunch (slightly changes each day). We had the Happy Burger and it was delicious. Home made patty and bun. Came with both sweet potato and normal fries. I often leave vegan places hungry but not here! We were stuffed! Great value for money.

I would have loved to have tried a cake,but struggled to finish the burger as it was.

Maria is an absolute superstar! Talking to her was a real pleasure. We dropped in on the off chance and the burgers were sold out (sad face). We had the spelt salad with smoked tofu and the chickpea curry which were to die for!! Neither of us came away disappointed. We told Maria we would be back today for burgers and it turns out they have an option to have the menu sent via WhatsApp in order to book and preorder. All the food we've had here has been utterly delicious! The portion sizes and service are incredible!

I wish I could rate it a thousand more stars! Definitely my all time favorite vegan restaurant. The staff was so friendly and lovely which made us feel very welcomed. The Papas Arrugadas, the burgers and the dessert have been so breathtakingly awesome that we had to visit two times even though we were staying in the south of the island. They also have a lot of homemade stuff like drinks and sauces that all tasted so good. The atmosphere and the seating were amazing as well. I can‘t wait to come back! A definite must if you‘re in Fuerteventura or else you‘ll miss out on something extremely special.

Unfortunately, dessert is not on the menu. You have explicitly ask for dessert. I found that inconvenient.
Place is very popular and the tables are rarely empty. To be on the safe side, it is better to reserve a table.
5 stars because it is 100% vegan, friendly and a cosy place.
