Organic restaurant and small grocery store in the Harbor of El Cotillo since 2017 (previously on Calle Mallorquin). Menu changes daily and offers Italian inspired dishes, baked treats and desserts, beer, and tea. Example choices include vegan muffins, salad of the day, gluten-free pasta in marinara, tofu burger, croquetta, carrot cake, and raspberry pie. Open Tue-Sat 12:00-18:00.

Except for goat cheese, everything here is vegan. We had a delicious burger that was so full of natural exciting taste! Menu changes daily. There are freshly made juices and sweets. You can also buy some organic and vegan produce. Staff was very nice. It was a happy place for sure!

We checked this place out when we were in el cortillo for the afternoon, really lovely place, friendly staff and delicious food. There are lots of take away options too and things to buy from their shop which is a bonus as there doesn’t seem to be much else around!

We drove by Lucky Cactus on our way to El Cotillo beach and were super exited to see the sign mentioning 'veg Food'. We were warmly greeted by the wonderful owners and decided to try pretty much everything on the menu. Everything we ate, from the gluten free pasta with aubergine, the gnocchi, the wrap filled with seitan and fresh veggies was absolutely sublime! We saved some room for dessert and had a raspberry pie and apple cake. Both were so delicious that we bought some more to go. You will also be able to find a small choice of organic grocery and produces. The only non vegan items are some local honey and goat cheese. Happy Cactus is a great addition to the already first class vegan scene of Fuerteventura.
