Honestly insane that this spot isn’t #1 on HappyCow. There’s nothing much to say other than this is the greatest vegan food to exist in Melbourne. The prices are so fair, the staff are wonderful, and the food is an out of this world experience.

We ordered the vegan cheese platter, gnocchi and spicy wings and everything was divine. I also got myself a mocktail which was delicious too! Staff were also very friendly and the vibes were also fun!

Their new menu is amazing! Really high quality cooking and ingredients. Really enjoyed the Peruvian style mushroom crudo (very fresh tasting), and the Gnocchi was the best cooked it's ever been, crispy and so so tasty, I can't come here without ordering it. Looking forward to coming back.
Read moreThe dessert of the day, cherry and frangipane tart, with what was probably Blue Ribbon icecream was tasty but the pastry wasn't flaky, was a little dense and hard to break into.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality.
Standout was definitely the baked gnocchi with nduja cream. The gnocchi wasn't crispy as the description led me to believe, it was perfect.
The crispy new potatoes were indeed beautifully crispy, it didn't come with a sauce, but luckily we had the spicy wings which came with ranch sauce that paired perfectly with the potatoes.
The mushroom pate was a little too subtle in flavour for me, and the crouton slices too thin. The spicy wings were the perfect level of spice for me, I would have liked them to be more crispy, and the fake meat used wasn't my favourite texture.

LOVE this Footscray hidden gem, it's a must visit. Great vegan food (omni friends loved it), awesome cocktails and atmosphere you won't find anywhere else. Staff are super friendly and happy to chat and give recommendations. Keep your Shazam handy to capture some of the cool tracks 🤣

I came here tonight on the filthy baby night. I started with the Hot Goth Summer cocktail because how could I not. It was beautifully presented and refreshing. My friend and I shared chick’n popcorn and potato skins both which were really tasty. The potato skins were cripsy. I had the here fishy fishy burger with the mushroom. It was well flavoured and the music was cool.

Love having this all-vegan bar in my neighbourhood. The food is delicious (especially the desserts!). My favourite main is the gnocchi and my favourite dessert is the chocolate tart. House spirits during happy hour are amazing value. Staff are lovely. Sometimes they run out of some of the meals, so worth thinking about back-up options when looking at the menu. Would love it if there were more non-mock meat mains on the menu, as mock meat isn’t my thing, would also love it if it were open for lunch with outdoor seating… Looking forward to my next visit and will make sure I save room for dessert!

I wasn't expecting much out of the food of Hail Lilith but it was actually so lovely and tasty. We loved everything we tried, my favourite was the gnocchi and my partner loved the carrots and scallopini most. The drinks were all a bit too out there for me, but really lovely the vibe of the place and how different it was from a lot of the places around Melbourne.

Read moreThe staff were lovely, the decor really fun and inviting but WOW the food was insane! It was fine dining in a great intimate atmosphere at very reasonable prices. Flavour were sooo good!! The non alcoholic cocktails (2 for 1 on a Wednesday) were also v tasty ;)
These guys know what they are doing. I love supporting local small vegan businesses so you have to make sure you get here :)

We are in love with this place! We have been 4-5 times and each visit is better than the last. The vibes and decor are very bloody cool- super grunge and gothic, which makes for an awesome date scene or dinner with friends.

And there’s so much creativity with each menu item too! We also LOVE visiting to try each weekly special.
A new favourite local spot of ours and we can’t speak highly enough of the owners. They are incredible at making it such a welcoming space!! We love it.

This little hidden bar is warm and cozy, with some couch seating as well as tables. It was loud, but I suppose you might expect that at a bar (that was pretty full).
The menu is small, but has some really interesting options including the watermelon carpaccio. Everything we had was really good. The burger was really tasty and filling, the wings had a nice texture and not overly sweet.
The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful.
