Vegan Dumplings

Gu’s Kitchen has a few locations scattered across Atlanta. The menu between them is consistent.

Gu’s features various vegan dumplings and appetizers - which I find better than their mains. They use a lot of chili-oil based recipes, so it’s a great place if you like spice.

I’ve had various tofu dishes and mains, but my favorite might just be the green beans.

The restaurant is always really quick and ready with your order and offers a nice alternative to most Asian spots by offering unique, bold, and spiced flavors..

unique options

this place has a bunch of things that are labelled vegan on the menu, many that i havent seen as vegan before at restaurants. really yummy, but definitely more of a casual or togo type of vibe

Best poboy I've ever had

This place has options that are really hard to find vegan or vegetarian, which I appreciate a lot. Like dumplings that *aren't* gyoza! (I love gyoza, but I want more variety!)

The vegan dumplings quite good and hearty, but I think you'd be best off getting a big family-style order so you have lots of sides to go with them.

My personal favorite is the tofu poboy, but it has a nonvegan coleslaw. You can ask for no coleslaw, but the numbing spice might be overwhelming without something cooling to balance it out. I LOVE it, though!

Pros: Vegan dumplings, a rare option for the area, Lots of numbing spice options, yum

Cons: Not as many veg options as I'd like, No dine-in due to covid (but I get it)
